''Back home! Finally!'' I exclaimed, dropping my suitcase on the floor. ''I'm so glad Mr. Davies gave me two days off.'' I said checking my phone to see if I had any unread e-mails.
''Yeah, you could use them. You've been working so hard, lately.'' Phil said behind me, kissing my neck.
''I miss Kenny's barking.'' I sighed.
''Me too, but I'm sure Alyssa is taking good care of him. Better than us.'' He laughed.
''Yeah.'' I smiled at him.
''Listen, I'm a bit tired. I think I'm going to head upstairs to take a nap, is that okay?'' He asked, yawning.
''Of course, babe.'' I pecked him on the cheek. ''I'm going to run some errands in the mean time.''
''Okay, Princess. Wake me up when you arrive back.'' He said kissing me.

It was almost six in the evening when I finished running my errands. I picked up some Chinese food and head back at home.
The house was so peaceful and quiet. I decided to take a quick shower and put on some yoga pants and a simple black tank top. I put my red hair in a braid and slowly walked into the bedroom.
''Phil.'' I slowly nudged him once or twice to wake him up. He looked so peaceful.
''Hmm, what?'' He asked blinking a few times before slowly opening his eyes.
''It's seven in the evening.'' I informed him, running a hand through his hair.
''Already?'' He asked rubbing sleep from his eyes.
''Yes.'' I lowered my face to his. ''Why don't you take a shower, while I heat up our Chinese food.'' I kissed his lips softly.
He nodded his head, slowly getting up, making his way to the bathroom.

''What's so amusing?'' Phil asked taking another bite of the chicken.
''You are.'' I giggled.
''And why is that?'' He asked.
''You're acting as if you haven't eaten in days. Slow down.'' I said taking a sip of red wine from my glass.
''It's just so good!'' He exclaimed.
''I have a something for you.'' I whispered, looking up at him.
''Oh, yeah? What is it?'' He smiled.
''A surprise.'' I mocked playfully.
''Oh, come on!'' He pouted.
''Don't worry. You'll see it soon enough.'' I took a bite of the beef. ''And don't pout.'' I frowned.
''Why not?'' He pouted even harder
''Stop that.'' I whined.
''Fine.'' he nodded is head, gazing at me.

''So, what's my surprise?'' He asked, eager to know.
''Sit down and close your eyes.'' I ordered as I plugged in the DVD system an inserted a disc.
