I moaned from the tapping sun-light against my face, wondered how long I've been asleep. I blinked, shut my eyes and blinked again. I yawned and managed to open my eyes fully. I got up from the bed, picked my outfit for the day and headed to the bathroom. I was going to pick up Damon from the airport today.
I fixed my hair one more time and left it in its natural waves. I looked myself in the mirror, and noticed I wasn't wearing the bracelet. I was deliberating on wearing it or not, but decided it's best if I leave it on the table. I haven't spoken to Phil since last night and I'm really hoping I don't come across him. I mean sure sooner or later I have to face him, but I pick later.
I looked at my watch and noticed it was time to leave. I got into my car and checked that everything was in its place. My car was actually a gift from Phil and his family, for getting my driver's license. Phil himself picked out the car for me. He bought me a black Toyota Corolla, very elegant for my taste. I named it Victoria; a simple noble name, but everyone calls her Vicky.
I waited for Damon for about half an hour at the airport, as soon as I was heading outside for some fresh air, I heard someone calling my name. I turned around and saw Damon.
''What are you doing here?'' He asked.
''I came to pick you up.'' I looked down at the ground.
''I thought you were going to sleep in, sleepy head.'' He smiled, sincerely, slowly ruffling my hair.
We made our way to the car and helped each other unloading things into the car trunk.
''So how did everything go?'' I asked, starting the car.
''Great! We rocked the stage, and there was a guy who wanted to know our name of the band, and said he was interested and he could make us a good fortune, so we took his number, and right now we're negotiating with him.'' He told me excitedly.
''Oh really? That's fantastic!'' I smiled.
''Yeah, he said that maybe he could get us a tour bus and we'd go on tour, since people need to hear our stuff.''
''That could be amazing for your career.''
''You think so?'' He asked looking at me, putting his hand on my thigh.
''Yeah! Everybody we'll know about the band 'Thorns' and they'll listen to it, you'll be known as the next Bruce Springsteen or Johnny Cash or even Jimi Hendrix.'' I chuckled softly.
''Let's not get to far ahead, but yeah you're right.'' He said, as his fingers dug into my denim jeans. I squirmed at the touch.
''Hey, ar-are you hun-hungry, because I haven't eaten all d-day.'' I stuttered.
''Yeah, I'm starving! Let's go to that new pizza place, that opened about a month ago.'' He said excitedly.
''Oh yeah I heard, the new Giordano's Pizza Place, right?'' I asked, making a right turn.
''That's the one!'' He said, kissing me on the cheek.

''Wow, this place is packed!'' I said as we got to the new restaurant. Although it was new it looked really familiar.
''Yeah, it is.'' He said.
A waiter approached us and said, ''Good afternoon, sir and madam, how may I help you?''
''Table for two please?'' Damon asked.
''Right this way sir,'' the waiter ordered.
As soon as we settled in, we looked at the menu, and ordered our food. I ordered a Chicago style pizza and Damon ordered the BBQ Chicken Pizza. As I looked around the restaurant, I noticed there was a picture in a frame of a man. This man looked really familiar. I got up from my seat and walked over to the frame.
