''Good evening, ladies and gentleman. Welcome to Louis Dire' show.'' An elderly woman dressed in red with short black hair, bright red lipstick and large gold earrings greeted us.
As both, Jensen and I made our way inside, everyone kept looking at me and Jensen. He was sure popular.
I haven't seen Phil or Alyssa yet.
''Good evening, son.'' Mr. Davies said walking towards us. He shook Jensen's hand and looked at me. ''You look absolutely stunning, Sarah.'' He said , slowly bending down, taking my hand a placing a kiss on my knuckles. ''Darling, look. This is Jensen's lovely woman and my personal assistant.'' He said, as the woman next to him turned around. She was beautiful. I was amazed by her loving green eyes. She was wearing a simple black satin floor length dress, her hair was up in a neat bun, and she had simple make up-on. She was a natural beauty. I can see clearly where Jensen got his looks.
''Hello darling, I'm Jensen's mother, Clarissa. And you are?'' She smiled, taking out her hand for me to shake.
I nervously shake her hand. ''My name is Sarah.'' I smiled at her.
...I just met his parents, weird. Too bad he'll never meet mine.
''You look lovely, darling.'' She smiled.
''Thank you so much. You look spectacular, Mrs. Davies.''
She laughed. ''You here that Jeremy. I'm looking spectacular, tonight.''
Mr. Davies joined her, with a hand wrapped around her waist. ''Of course you do, my love.'' And he kissed her softly on her lips.
''Oh, do that later, Dad, please.'' Jensen said making a disgusted face.
''I intend to.'' Mr. Davies smirked.
Jensen turned his gaze to me, distracted. ''What would you like to drink?''
''I'll have a glass of white wine, thank you.'' I replied softly.
He kissed me on the cheek and headed for the open bar.
''Sarah!''
Phil came barreling through a throng of people. He was wearing a suit, looking good. He enfolded me in his arms, hugging me hard.
''I'm glad you made it, Phil.'' I whispered in his ear. ''Where's Alyssa?'' I said looking around.
''Right here.'' She said behind me, giving me a fright.
''Dios mío, Alyssa. You scared me.'' I said turning around hugging her. She was looking absolutely amazing in her pale pink dress. Her hair was straight and she was rocking the Smokey-eye look, as usual.
''You two came together?'' I asked.
''Yeah, I drove us here.'' Phil said. ''Is Jensen here?''
''Yes, he's at the open bar.'' I nodded in Jensen's direction.
''I'll go introduce myself.'' He said.
I looked back at Alyssa and she was looking down at the ground.
''Hey, Alyssa, are you okay?'' I asked.
''Yes, yes. I'm fine.'' She said still looking down.
I put my hand on her shoulder to make her feel more at ease. ''Tell me. What's wrong?''
