Phil's point of view.
I kept driving around town for at least two hours and there was no sign of Sarah. I literally searched everywhere for her, asked every retail outlet if they had seen a woman with red hair around the areas and every passenger walking by. No one has seen her.
My instinct kept telling me to drive back home and wait for her there, so after one last drive that's what I did.
I was a few blocks away from my house when I spotted a girl with the same hairstyle as Sarah, wearing really shady clothes. Could it be?
I pressed the car horn and slowed down the car to match with her pace. Once she heard it, she turned around and there she was. She was wearing a really short fitting black dress, with black boots that go up her knees. Her hair was a mess and her lipstick was smudged. Great, she looked like a hooker now.
''Get lost!'' She shouted, sticking up her middle finger in the air.
''Oh, get in the car, please!'' I shouted.
''No way in hell.'' She yelled, walking faster on the pavement.
I let a growl in frustration, she was driving me insane. ''We need to talk, please, get in the car.'' I replied, pressing down on the gas, moving closer to her.
''Why?'' She asked annoyed.
''Because you look like a fucking hooker! Get in the mother fucking car, right now!'' I growled through gritted teeth.
''Fine!'' She sighed, getting into the car and buckling her seat belt. ''Where are we going?'' She asked.
''Home.'' I hissed.
She stretched out in her seat. ''But, I'm hungry.'' She whined.
''Fine, I'll get some take-away. What do you want?'' I asked, making a right turn.
''Mac Donalds.'' She chuckled. That laugh, I thought.
''Alright.''
* * * *
After we ate our take-away in the car, I started the engine and drove us home.
Sarah was quiet in her seat, playing with her fingers. I turned on the radio and one of her favourite songs came on; Wonderwall by The Oasis.
I started to sing some of the lyrics, trying to get her to talk. ''And after all, you're my wonderwall.'' I sung. ''Come on, Sarah! You love this song, sing it.''
''Change the channel.'' She whispered.
''What?'' I asked, turning the volume up.
''I said, change the channel!'' She yelled.
''Why? You used to love this song!'' I replied, still miming the melody.
''Yeah, used to.'' She growled, turning off the radio. ''There, much better.'' She grinned.
''Don't...don't do this.'' I whispered.
''Do what?'' She asked quietly.
''This! Don't be mean to me.'' I replied, hurt by my words as I looked out the window to cross the road.
''I don't know what you're talking about.'' She whispered, shifting uncomfortably in her seat.
''Yes, you do.'' I snapped.
