after school

raven: are you still going to osmans?

me: yeah I'm going home first to drop off my bag then going to hang with him

me: why?

raven: apparently ethan is throwing a party tonight

me: seriously...

raven: just thought you should know

me: no surprise

raven: are we going to it?

me: you can

raven: I'm not going without you

me: is gray staying home for it?

raven: I'm not sure

me: I'm going to his house to talk to him before the party I'm fucking tired of all of this

raven: talk to grayson?

me: yeah

raven: oh

me: what?

raven: hes just not really the problem, I'm surprised you want to talk to him more than you do ethan

me: I'll stop being so anxious once I get answers from grayson so I need to talk to him

raven: yeah. get answers.

me: it's obvious something is going on

raven: honestly I just feel like they all feel betrayed but don't know how to do life without each other

raven: especially grayson

me: guess I'll find out.

raven: if you and osman end up wanting to hang instead of go to the party, just hit me up

me: I will!

I slipped my phone into the back pocket of my black fitted jeans, letting my opposite hand reach for the front door and twist the handle.

I let my backpack fall off of my shoulders as I walked through the door frame, then pushing the door shut behind me.

"home on a friday?" my moms voice questioned from the kitchen, causing me to turn to look at her.

she was sitting at one of the bar stools, a glass of wine in her hand. my eyebrows furrowed due to the fact that it was only four o'clock in the afternoon.

I exhaled a large breath as I looked at her, tucking a piece of hair behind my ear. "just needed to drop my stuff off before I go out."
