jaylee's pov
saturday

my eyes opened slowly, immediately landing on ethan laying down next to me, looking peaceful while sleeping.

a needle felt like it had hit my heart like a dart, not immediately remembering why or how I got here with ethan.

after only a couple of seconds, memories from last night began to flash throughout my mind-making me feel more calm.

I looked back to his relaxed face laying against the pillow. his eyes were being held shut by his long eyelashes, his lips open only a little bit, and his hair messy falling on his forehead.

there was a weight around my waist-his arm loosely holding me close to him.

my entire body felt a heat of energy flow through it just by looking at him-being here with him.

my finger gently traced along the skin over one of his many tattoos, dragging my finger up to his shoulder. being a deep sleeper, he didn't even budge.

I took my hand back, snuggling it into my chest as I looked at him for a couple more seconds, then turned my head towards his room.

last night I couldn't see much, but now that there's natural light coming from the window, I was pretty shocked at how normal his room was.

sure, it was pretty big in size, but the walls were plain, a couple of dressers sat near the corners, a desk next to the door, and his bed.

I don't really know what I was expecting, maybe something a little more dangerous or edgy, but something about it being so normal was comforting.

I turned my attention back onto ethan, seeing him still sleeping calmly. he breathed slowly but deeply, showing how deep into sleep he was.

gently, my hand grabbed onto his from around my waist-slowly removing from being around me. I set his arm down next to him lightly, trying my best to not make any noise.

after I was fully free from his grasp, I slid out of the sheets causing them to ruffle a bit, but not loud enough to wake him.

my feet stood up onto the ice-like marble floor, then walking towards the door to his bedroom. my hand reached for the handle, grabbed onto it and twisting it open silently.

pulling it open, I walked through it, then closing it behind me.

the house stood still being completely quiet for a couple of long moments until I began to walk down the long hallway that I came through last night.

once I reached the end, I stepped down the stairs being in no rush.

the familiar smell of bacon swiftly entered my nose as the sound of sizzling captured my attention.

my eyebrows narrowed, being unsure of whether it was grayson or the twins parents that were in the kitchen.

my heart began to race quickly, nerves filling my stomach just thinking about meeting the parents of the two most attractive guys in our school.
