(highly recommend + put on repeat)jaylee's pov
monday morningmy attention was taken by grayson running next to me, joining me at my hip to walk with me. "hey jaylee." he greeted me.
"shit grayson," a small laugh escaped my mouth as we continued to walk down the hallway.
"what class are you going to?" he asked in a fast paced voice, sounding concerned.
we both turned down a hallway that led to my classroom, "ap english." I told him, holding onto the straps of my backpack.
he seemed caught off guard at my sudden turn down the hallway. "you sure you wanna go this way?" his voice sounded panicked as he caught back up to me quickly.
I laughed at his question, continuing to walk. "yeah, I'm sure." I told him. "my class is a couple halls down."
his hand grabbed onto my forearm, pulling me in a different direction that I was walking, "let's go walk down the main hallway."
my eyebrows furrowed as I stopped walking, keeping my feet still. "why?" I turned in the direction of my class, "my classroom is literally just down there." my finger pointed towards the opposite direction of him.
he shrugged, popping out his bottom lip. "why take the back hallways when you could walk down the main one?"
he slowly started pulling me towards the main hallway, but I pulled my arm out of his. a scoff left my mouth, rolling my eyes at him. "what's going on, grayson?"
he stared at me with his mouth slightly open for a couple of seconds. his eyes shifted to the side then back to me as he blinked a couple of times. "nothing." he shrugged his shoulders again.
my eyebrows stayed sharp as I looked at him, trying to read his facial expressions.
noticing that I was breaking through to him, he grabbed onto my arm again, but this time it was a little stronger to make sure I followed him. "come on, i don't wanna walk alone." he made up another excuse.
I let out a large groan as my eyes rolled at him again, giving in to following him. "you're so weird." my voice whined as I walked next to him.
he let go of me once he knew I was going to walk with him. "wow, thanks!" a sarcastic look laced in his voice as he looked at me.
my eyebrows narrowed at the sight of a huge amount of people all standing in the hallway, facing away from us. "what's going on?" I pointed my finger to the group of people.
graysons eyebrows narrowed as he stood on his tippy toes to see what had been going on. "I have no clue." his voice sounded confused.
we both started walking towards the crowd of people, everyone's bodies too tall for me to see past them.
"move." graysons masculine and deepened voice shouted aggressively as he pulled peoples shoulders out of the way.
I followed behind him, being smuthered by multiple bodies that were bigger than mine.
finally, we broke through all of the people, and my breath immediately got taken away at what I was looking at.
