It was the night after the Valentines dance, you had been rummaging through some boxes yet to be unpacked from when you moved there, you had put away the Power Pole and the Z Sword when Mina walked in.

Mina: " Hey there (y/n)! "

y/n: " Oh, hey Mina. "

Mina: " Whatcha doin? "

y/n: " Just looking through some old stuff. "

Mina: " You don't mind if I take a look, do you. "

y/n: " No, not at all. "

She looks through some boxes and then her face lights up.

Mina: " Oh my god, is this a family photo album?! "

You look over to her, she is holding up an old book chocked full of photos from when you were a kid.

y/n: " Huh, my dad must have misplaced this when he was packing up my stuff. "

Mina: " I got to see some of these pictures! "

She starts flipping through the pictures, but then she stops at one of large pictures.

Mina: " The first time (y/n) went Super Saiyan, OH MY GOD! "

The picture was you standing with Piccolo and your father as you were crying in joy.

y/n: " Oh yeah, I forgot about that picture. "

Mina: " Well, tell me! "

y/n: " Tell you what? "

Mina: " About the time you went Super Saiyan for the first time! "

y/n: " You really want to hear about it? "

Mina: " Yes! "

y/n: " Ok, it all started when I was eight years old.............. "

He fires off a massive Kamehameha, you make a shield with your ki.

Piccolo: " YOU DIDN'T DODGE!!!!!!!!!! "

y/n: " PICCOLO HELP! "

You begin to cry.

y/n: " I can't die here! I WON'T!!!!! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!! "

You feel a weird power surge through your spine, and then you knock the beam back towards your father.

Goten: " ALRIGHT SPORT, YOU DID IT! "

Piccolo: " H-HE DIDN'T EVEN DODGE!!!! "

It takes you a minute to figure out what was happening, but then you feel your hair, it was pointing straight up.

y/n: " D-Did I, go Super Saiyan? "

Goten: " Yes you did, i'm so proud of you! "

Your father ran over to you with tears in his eyes.
