Countin' One's Blessings

Teddy was a blessing,

Sol knows that for a fact.

Plannin', doin' and getting away with it,

There's no one better at.

Six wagons,

Five routes to take.

Two loaded with money,

Four wagons fake.

Dundee Hines and Benny Crocker,

drive the wagon riding west.

They'd leave it and change to horses

Left waiting in the forest.

Wagon no. 2, with Big Pez and Lil' Runt

Down south they go,

And cross the river

Where it's shallow

Third one's with Mike and Ike,

Teddy's twin cousins.

Far up north,

That's where they're leading.

Abe Zabba drives alone

On to boot hill he heads,

There he'll dump the wagon

Then switch to his steed

Last two wagons

Carry the safe and all the money

Half on Rolo and Sol

And half on Teddy

They all have three days

To ride east of Crusted County

And rendezvous in the largest cave

In Tim Tam Valley

Sol laughed,

no father's more proud for his son

as Teddy whooped from his wagon,

"Yeehaw! Success, pa!

We'd done it again!

Let's get to that cave in pronto,

Can't wait to start countin'!"
