Last Dance – Myna (MystresMyna)

"Oh dear!!, Aunt Sue,

What will I do?

I have no time,

For buying a dress that is new!

My best red dress,

I can no longer wear!

I have no gown,

For this magnificent affair!"

"Dear Myna, don't you cry

There's no spilled milk.

I have in my trunk,

A pink dress made of silk.

It was your mother's,

It has an empire waist;

You will be a vision,

Of heavenly grace."

Out from the bedroom,

I slowly waltz...

Lorne smiles, ear to ear,

His love for me he does exalt.

"Shall we, my dear,

My perfect desert rose!

You're an absolute vision,

Your face positively glows."

He offers me his arm,

He's one handsome man.

I am proud to be at his side,

I am his number one fan.

We stop in the kitchen,

Aunt Sue says, "Whoa!

Don't you worry 'about this,

The two of you just go!"

Out the door,

She shoos us;

Off to the Casino,

No more to discuss.

Rue is a vision,

Her happiness overflowing!

The Kit-Kats had come,

For her grand opening.

So much joy!

So many smiles!

The town needed this,

After so many trials.

Lorne and I,

Take a turn around the floor.

Loren sings a song,

We both adore.

The world spins to the left,

Then to the right,

I fall into darkness...

Who turned out the light...
