Lorne strides with haste:
He heads back to the kitchen;
Stands staring, hands on his waist.
The look on his face,
Again, says it all;
There's no denying,
He's put up a wall.
I dust the flour from my apron,
Put on my best smile:
Reach to kiss his stern cheek,
He won't give me an inch much less a mile.
"You haven't told 3Gun!"
I thought I made myself clear,
Myna, take the apron off,
We are doing it now, you hear?!"
"Its the lunch rush!
Are you kidding me!?!
We'll talk about this later!"
I stomp my foot for all to see.
Lorne's brow does not flinch,
His eyes are dark and steely.
He wasn't backing down,
His discontent flowed freely.
"My mind is made up, Myna,
There is nothing you can say.
So we won't talk about it later,
This is going down my way!"
His hands slide 'round my back,
Quickly he unties the bow,
The apron drops to the floor,
He points to the door...
