Aunt Sue takes Myna
firmly by the arm;
they head up stairs,
Sue's face held no charm.
"Myna Mae Order!!
What is wrong with you?
Lorne knows what's best,
quitting is the best thing to do!"
Myna tried to speak,
But was quickly shut down,
by Aunt Sue's pleading eyes,
and concerned frown.
"Turn in your badge young lady!
You have no other choice!"
Though Sue was stern,
Myna heard the love in her voice.
"Aunt Sue, I don't want to disappoint,
all the people in town.
I owe them so much...
How can I let them down?"
"Myna none of that matters,
they will all understand,
you must give into Lorne's demand.
You are all he cares about,
and there's so much at stake;
not doing this for him,
could be a big mistake.
Your husband comes first
and AJ can take your place.
Go to 3Gun now,
turn in your badge with grace."
Myna's eyes filled with tears,
but in her heart there was peace.
"Come I will go with you,
My beautiful darling niece."
