Go West

Armed with the dragon pole, a cleaver

And Loren's goodluck kiss

AJ took Hawflake

And chased the bandits

He followed the wagon

That took the road west

Bypassing the Order's Ranch

To the Parallel Forest

But just by the windmill,

He saw the wagon

Empty, abandoned, upturned

With on wheel broken

He followed the tracks

That led to Frank's old home

Looking through a window

He saw two bandits in discussion.

"Don't leave me here, Benny!"

One pleaded the other

"Just help me bind this leg,

Then we're goin' together."

"No, Hines," Benny replied.

"Bone's jutting from your leg,

That wound will fester,

And a few days you're dead."

AJ watched in horror

As Benny pulled out his gun

Trained it at Hines' heart,

Pulled the trigger, and it's done.

The baker wasted no time,

Sent the cleaver sailing through the window,

It hacked Benny's arm

Just right below the elbow.

The bandit screamed in pain

But suddenly fell quiet,

As the dragon pole swung hard,

And landed solid on his neck.

With Benny unconscious,

AJ applied a tourniquet on the torn arm

He bound the bandit's feet and legs

And swung him up on the wagon's horse

He then searched the area

To look for the stolen money

He found nothing, no even on the bandits

Their pockets were empty.

AJ called Hawflake,

It's time to go home

They road to BG quick

With the other horse in tow

One in town,

They headed straight to the doctor's

There he found Loren

Helping those who were hurt

Loren's eyes grew wide,

There's blood on his shirt

She quickly asked AJ

If he was injured.

The baker grinned as he replied

"It's bandit blood, Loren, not mine,

Didn't I promise,

I'd be back in one piece?"

With that, he planted

A playful kiss on her nose

Handed Benny to the doc,

And reported straight to the mayor.
