"I think I should go now." Jinyoung stated after he had showered and put back on his clothes.

Jaebum nodded, watching the younger grab all of his belongings, which was just his jacket and gun, before heading towards the door.

"Whose gun is that, by the way?" Jaebum asked curiously.

Jinyoung turned, furrowing his brows. "Mine. Why?"

Jaebum shrugged, highly doubting that answer. "I don't know. You don't seem like the type of kid who has a gun license."

Jinyoung rolled his eyes, sighing as he hid his gun back in his pants. "It's mine, okay?"

"Well then shouldn't you have a better place to hide it?" Jaebum asked, not really fond of it just sticking out of his pants.

"Like where?" Jinyoung asked.

Jaebum held his hand up, silently telling Jinyoung to wait a second. He rummaged around in a closet in the hallway until he found what he was looking for. He pulled out a black backpack, brushing off the dust and handing it to Jinyoung.

"Here, use this." Jaebum said.

Jinyoung frowned at it. "Why? I don't need it."

"It's better than shoving a gun you don't even know how to use down your pants. Besides, what kind of robber steals shit without a safe place to put it?" Jaebum stated.

Jinyoung sighed, taking the bag because he knew Jaebum was right, but he didn't say so. He just shoved the gun in the bag and slung it onto his back. Jaebum just watched him, thinking about how he'd make a better robber himself than Jinyoung ever would. Not that Jaebum wanted to be a criminal, but Jinyoung was just absolutely terrible at it.

"Thanks..." Jinyoung said, looking back at Jaebum.

"No problem. Good luck." Jaebum said as he walked Jinyoung to the door, opening it for him to walk out.

Jinyoung nodded. "Yeah... you too..." he replied before taking one last look and leaving.

Jaebum watched Jinyoung walk as far as he could see him, whispering a silent prayer to himself that Jinyoung would turn out okay. Though he was sure he would never see the man again, Jaebum just hoped the best for him.

And then it was back to Jaebum's normal, average life. He was tired after the very eventful night he had, but for the first time in a while, he felt lonely. Having Jinyoung around just for a few hours was a breath of fresh air. All of Jaebum's friends all seem the same, wanting to party and make it big in the world. Jaebum had similar dreams and aspirations, but he never put himself out there like that. He stayed to himself for the most part.

Jinyoung carried a different vibe though. He seemed just as average as any other person, and Jaebum liked that about him. He liked meeting another "normal" person. Sure, being a criminal isn't exactly "normal", but Jinyoung just seemed more lost and confused in his life. Jaebum could tell that Jinyoung didn't particularly like stealing. He was just good at it. Well, semi-good at least. He seemed almost glad that Jaebum had caught him in the act before he could make another victim to his crimes.

Jaebum felt very similar. He didn't really like his job as a cleaning assistant or "janitor", as others would call it. But he was good at it, and it brought him closer to his dream than any other job had. But Jaebum was also confused on whether or not this was the right path. Whether he should chance his dream harder or just let it go.

That's why he was so fond of Jinyoung, because he could see himself in him. But now he was gone. Jaebum wasn't really sad or anything, he just met the guy. But he felt lonelier than ever. He realized that he spent the majority of his night tending to Jinyoung; feeding him, cleaning his clothes, giving him a comfortable place to sleep. He actually enjoyed doing all of that for someone else, which was weird, because Jaebum doesn't really like company. Yet here he was, missing the thief that almost stole from him.
