"What did you do to him!?" Mark yelled, charging towards the man that had presented himself through the elevator doors.
Mark tried to run over to aid Jackson who was on the floor just passed the man who knocked him out, only to get elbowed in the stomach by another taller man that came out of the elevator. Mark fell to his knees, coughing while clutching his stomach.
"No!" Jinyoung yelled, as he watched Mark crumple to the floor.
"Bam, Gyeom, take them away and keep them out of sight. I want to talk to these two." The man holding the gun said.
Jaebum stood there frozen in shock. It took him a moment to recognize the three, but one of the men's weird hair color striked up his memory. He recognized them from the security footage, and judging by how terrified Jinyoung looked, he was sure that these had to be the three main people who were after Jinyoung.
Another tall guy that had exited the elevator helped the other drag Mark and Jackson away down one of the hallways, leaving Jaebum, Jinyoung, and the guy holding the gun in the living room together. He seemed to be leading the other two, which only made Jaebum assume that he was the infamous Youngjae who Jinyoung kept telling him about.
"Who the hell are you?" Jaebum asked, wanting confirmation on his assumption. He protectively stood in front of Jinyoung, keeping him away from anyone who'd want to harm him.
"Oh, so you're Jinyoung's boyfriend, huh. The one I talked to on the phone?" Youngjae asked, only glancing at Jaebum before hiS eyes trailed to Jinyoung.
"What's it to you?" Jaebum spat, hardly believing that this guy was the big and bad leader of Shadow.
Youngjae chuckled, shaking his head as he took a few steps closer. "Look, I'm glad you all had a little fun with him, but it's time to return him to his rightful place. Let's not let this get out of hand hmm?"
Jaebum scoffed. "Fuck off, he's not coming with you."
"Jinyoung can speak for himself. You wanna come home, don't you?" Youngjae asked, his piercing gaze unwavering from Jinyoung.
The man in question quietly took a few steps back, hiding a bit behind Jaebum. Jaebum took that as his final choice, turning back to face Youngjae again.
"See? He's decided. Now let my friends go and get the hell out." Jaebum ordered, raising his voice a little to hopefully show that he meant business.
Though Youngjae was unphased, he just shook his head with that unmoving smirk still on his lips. "Ah but, Jinyoung knows what happens when he makes the wrong decisions. I'm assuming you know what happens too."
That enraged Jaebum, his head filling with the dozens of scars that littered Jinyoung's body all caused by the man standing just a few feet in front of him. "Yeah, you beat him senseless for no reason, which is why he's staying with me."
"It's not a senseless beating if he learns something from it. Besides, I just like to call it behavior correction, saying it's a 'beating' sounds too inhumane." Youngjae explained, his tone so nonchalant and casual, it truly appalled Jaebum.
Jaebum shook his head, regarding Youngjae in pure disgust. "What the fuck kind of sick twisted person are you?"
"Give me Jinyoung and you won't ever have to see me again. We can peacefully part ways, and you won't have to find out who I am." Youngjae stated, gesturing to Jinyoung who he seemed to have sort of a special interest in. Jaebum couldn't figure out why that was, nor did he really care. All he wanted was for these dudes to get out of the house, and to pull Jinyoung safely into his arms.
