"We're moving out guys." Jaebum said as he entered the house, walking in on Mark and Jinyoung watching T.V. together.
Mark sat up, his eyes widening. "What? Jackson said yes?"
Jaebum nodded happily, the grin on his face unhide-able. "Yeah, I talked to him for a bit, explained a little of our situation, and he eventually came around. Said he'll be hiring extra security and getting his place ready for us to stay a while. We just got to get there in one piece."
Mark smiled and patted Jaebum on the back, silently thanking him for his good work. Though Jinyoung was in a heap of confusion, his eyes darting back and forth between Jaebum and Mark.
Jinyoung leaned forward on the couch, his brows furrowing. "Wait... who's Jackson?"
Jaebum's attention was caught with the question, and he realized that they never informed Jinyoung of what they were doing. "Oh, sorry... another one of my friends. Maybe you know him? Jackson Wang?"
Jinyoung's eyes widened, his jaw dropping open a bit. "Shut up."
Jaebum was caught off gaurd by the sudden shocked expression Jinyoung wore. "W-Why?"
Jinyoung shook his head, standing up and stepping closer to Jaebum. "You're lying to me. You don't know Jackson Wang."
"I do. We're going to his penthouse to stay there for a while." Jaebum explained, Jinyoung's face showing more shock than before. He found it a bit amusing to brag about his rich and famous friend, but of course he didn't say that aloud.
Jinyoung pointed at Jaebum, his finger almost poking into Jaebum's chest. "Don't fuck with me Jaebum, that's not funny. I love Jackson Wang, he's like, such an inspiration as an artist."
"I'm not fucking with you... I didn't know you were a fan." Jaebum said, genuinely surprised at finding this out. It was a weird turn of events, but at least Jinyoung seemed pretty familiar with Jackson.
Jinyoung suddenly turned shy, his arms crossing over his chest as he looked away. "I'm not like... obsessed with him... but I like his music. It helps me ignore things that I don't want to think about."
"This is so cute. A fan meeting his celebrity crush." Mark said, grinning at Jinyoung's reaction.
"Wait, Mark do you know him too?" Jinyoung asked.
Mark nodded as if it were obvious the two knew each other. "Of course I do. I had a few private nights with him in that luxurious penthouse of his. The beds are super soft by the way."
Jinyoung looked full of disbelief, his hand pressing to his temple as if all of this was too much to take in. "Am I just surrounded by rich and famous sucessful people who knows celebrities and has a shit ton of money?"
Mark shook his head, debunking Jinyoung's assumptions. "I have a shit ton of money that I didn't need to work for, my parents did all of that for me and I just inherited it. Jaebum's broke as fuck, can barely pay rent. But Jackson's a self made man, he made all of his success all by himself."
"Fuck you Mark, you're just gonna try and suck up to Jackson the entire time we're there. He said you would." Jaebum stated, not appreciating being dissed about his financial situation in front of Jinyoung.
"Maybe I'll get to suck something else if I'm lucky." Mark said with a wink, a smirk cracking onto his lips.
Jaebum rolled his eyes, Mark's dirty comments always making his skin itch. "You're disgusting. Jackson wouldn't do anything like that with you anyway."
"You sure about that?" Mark asked, the look he gave Jaebum having an underlying meaning that Jaebum didn't even want to think about.
"...Whatever, you and Jackson aren't my main concern." Jaebum stated, ignoring the elder's comments and switching the topic. "Jinyoung, start getting your stuff together, I wanna get out of here soon."
"Okay..." Jinyoung said, turning to head back to his room to gather his things. He paused in his tracks though, spinning back around and looking at Jaebum. "...um, do you wanna come help me?"
Jaebum smiled, nodding at the younger. He felt his heart jump out of his chest at Jinyoung asking for his help. It honestly felt nice to be needed. "Sure, I'll be there in a minute."
Jinyoung smiled and quickly headed out, leaving Jaebum and Mark in the living room.
Mark chuckled, turning to Jaebum who still had a dumb grin on his face. "He's so cute. I'm glad you're doing all of this for him. I've never seen you go so far out of your way for someone."
Jaebum nodded, feeling happy that he was doing this for Jinyoung as well. "He needs it. I feel like he's been missing out on the love and care he should've had since he was a little kid. I wanna give him that."
Mark shook his head, chuckling some more as he clapped Jaebum on the shoulder. "You've become soft."
Jaebum sighed, shaking his head. "I know, I fucking hate it."
"But you love him. So it's worth it." Mark said with a meaningful pat on the back before walking away.
Jaebum hated Mark for saying that. It just made his heart beat uncontrollably faster for Jinyoung, and made Jaebum realize exactly how much he'd do just to make Jinyoung safe and happy.
