"Guys look. I can access the security footage from yesterday when those strange guys asked to be let up to my apartment. We can see their faces." Jackson stated, turning his laptop around to show Mark and Jaebum what was on his screen.
They leaned in, looking at what the screen displayed. The footage taken from the security camera in the lobby showed three men walking into the lobby of the building. They wore black clothing and heavy matching jackets, which already looked weirdly suspicious. One of the men spoke to the receptionist for a few minutes, looking as if he requested something and the receptionist denied giving it to him. He then nodded and the three of them walked out, taking one last look around the building before heading out.
Jackson paused the video there, since that was all they needed to see.
"So these people are who we're watching out for?" Jaebum asked, rewinding the footage to get a clear image of their faces.
"We should ask Jinyoung just in case." Jackson suggested.
Mark was immediately against that though, shaking his head. "No, hell no."
Jaebum looked over at him, his brows furrowing together. "Mark we have to."
"He's already scared as it is. If we show him that these people know where we are he's gonna panic." Mark stated, folding his arms over his chest.
Jaebum shook his head, standing up from the couch. "I'm not gonna keep lying to him. He needs to know what's going on."
Mark watched Jaebum walk away, scoffing at the younger's argument. "Fine, do whatever you want. Don't tell me I didn't warn you."
Jaebum ignored him, heading down the hall to fetch Jinyoung. The younger was still in Jaebum's room, but he was awake and checking his phone when Jaebum opened the door and entered. "Jinyoung, can you come for a sec?"
"Why?" Jinyoung asked, groggily rubbing his eyes after obviously just waking up not too long ago.
"Just come." Jaebum responded, beckoning Jinyoung to follow him. Jinyoung grabbed his phone and walked back with Jaebum into the living room, sitting down on the couch across from the one Mark and Jackson were seated on.
Jackson looked at Mark and Jaebum before slowly turning his laptop around, showing the footage once more to Jinyoung. "I need you to look at this and see if you recognize these people."
Jinyoung's eyes scanned the screen, his brows knitting together as he leaned closer for a better look. He squinted, taking another minute to look at the footage before his eyes widened in recognition. "Oh fuck."
"It's them?" Jaebum asked, watching Jinyoung's body tense up from the sight.
"Holy shit they found us. How the hell did they find us? Jaebum are we in trouble? Are they gonna kill us?" Jinyoung was visibly shocked and upset, the younger rambling out questions that ran through his mind.
"No they're not, calm down. They're not even in the building, see? They left." Jaebum pointed out on screen.
"But they know where we are! They're gonna get in! They have connections!" Jinyoung yelled, suddenly standing up in panic as he realized the gravity of the situation.
"We do too. Don't worry." Jackson assured, though his expression wasn't really all too reassuring.
"How can you all be so calm!? This is serious!" Jinyoung exclaimed, looking amongst the three others who were more focused on calming him down than anything else at the moment.
"We know Jinyoung, relax." Jaebum said, trying to ease Jinyoung nerves with his words. His eyes trailed to Jinyoung's shaking hands, his heart breaking at how terrified the younger looked. Though his gaze ended up focusing more on what Jinyoung was holding in his hand, his eyes widening at the thought that crossed his mind. "Your phone. Jinyoung give me your phone."
