Jaebum sat in the small cafe where he agreed to meet the world famous superstar. He had already ordered a coffee and sat at an unoccupied table, glancing around for any signs of him. The bell that hung over the entrance to the cafe suddenly rang, attracting Jaebum's eyes to it. A man with sunglasses and large coat walk in, Jaebum immediately recognizing that small but muscular stature. He stood up, greeting his friend with a smile.

"Jackson, what's up?" Jaebum asked happily as he outstretched his arms towards the celebrity.

Jackson smiled wide, his bright teeth nearly blinding Jaebum. "Yo, Jaebum! It's been a while!"

Jaebum nodded, looking Jackson up and down. He looks just as famous and rich as he did the last time he saw the man, out living the dream that Jaebum was still working towards. "Well, you've been on a world tour for the past few months. How are you? Tired?"

Jackson groaned exaggeratedly before laughing. "Of course. I'm jet lagged as hell but, I couldn't pass up a date with my best friend!"

Jaebum chuckled. "I'm glad you wanted to see me, I feel honored that a celebrity has time for a nobody such as myself."

Jackson clapped Jaebum on the back, shaking his head at the elder. "Oh Jaebum stop it, you're gonna take off as a huge producer, I feel it. You're talented, and sooner or later me and you are gonna be standing on the same stage in front of a stadium full of fans. You'll see!"

"I wish. Someday." Jaebum said dryly, the reminder of him still not going anywhere with his music career setting him in a bit of a down mood.

Jackson quickly looked around, growing a bit anxious the longer they stood there. He turned back to Jaebum, leaning in to whisper in his ear. "So how about we go somewhere a bit more private? This place is kinda crowded..."

Jaebum looked around, noticing the cafe beginning to fill up more after Jackson's appearance. He could hear the murmurs of Jackson's name and the flash of some photos being taken. Jaebum could see that Jackson was attracting a lot of attention, and as much as Jackson loved his job in the spotlight, he loved his privacy even more.

"Sure." Jaebum agreed just so they could get out of there quickly.

Jaebum and Jackson walked out to Jackson's car, which was obviously Jackson's car since it was so nice compared to the other ones parked along the street. Jackson gestured for Jaebum to get in, the pair sitting in the luxury vehicle that stood out from the rest.

Jackson seemed more comfortable now, a relaxed smile on his face as his arm wrapped around the elder's shoulders. "So, what can I do for my friend?"

"What do you mean?" Jaebum asked, though he already knew what Jackson was referring to.

"Didn't you say you needed something? If it's money, then of course I got you." Jackson said, opening up his glove compartment to reveal some cash that he hid away.

Jaebum's eyes widened at the amount of money stowed in Jackson's car, his head immediately shaking in refusal. "Oh Jackson no, no that's not it..."

Jackson looked puzzled. It seemed like whenever someone asks him for help, it's always for money. "Then what?"

"Actually, I just need a place to stay. A secure place where no one can... y'know, find me." Jaebum said, the sentence coming out very shady and worrying, but he still tried to deliver it as casually as possible.

Jackson took on a serious face, leaning further in towards Jaebum. "Jaebum, what did you do? What sort of trouble are you in? Do you need a passport? Want me to pull some strings with the local police? I have connections."
