Most of the car ride was quiet. Jinyoung didn't respond to what Mark had exposed before, it just died in silence. The only noise in the car was the radio and Jaebum speaking to Jackson when he called and told him that they were on their way to his place.
Jaebum wanted to kill Mark. Why the elder exposed his feelings for Jinyoung in the most awkwardest of places was beyond him. And why Jinyoung didn't respond was even more nerve wraking. Jaebum wanted to crawl in a hole and hide there forever, but instead, he was stuck in a car with his idiot of a friend and Jinyoung who now knows of his feelings.
"Guys we're almost there." Mark announced, making Jaebum look up out the window.
They were now in the city, tall sky high buildings all around them. Mark pulled up into the parking area of one particular building, the security stopping them before they could enter. They asked for identification and Mark gave them his drivers licence. He told them that they were here to visit Jackson Wang, and the security immdiately made a call to confirm that before letting them through.
"Damn security is tight. At least we know we'll have protection here." Jaebum said, watching the huge security guy stop another car that was trying to enter behind them.
"Yeah. Let me park and we can head up." Mark said.
Mark parked the car, the three getting out and heading into the lobby of the building. Just walking into the lobby showed what high class the bulding was, with a red carpet layed across the floor and gold chandeliers illuminating the room. Both Jaebum and Jinyoung felt quite out of place, but they just followed Mark who seemed to know where he was going, having been here before.
They all loaded into an elevator and Mark pressed the very top floor. He then needed to type in a passcode that he somehow had memorized by heart. He must've visited here plenty of times, but that wasn't a surprise to Jaebum considering that Mark cheating on him with his best friend is what broke them up for good. The elevator closed and they started moving up, the ride taking a little while to get the the top.
"This is crazy... I'm going to Jackson Wang's penthouse..." Jinyoung mumbled, his eyes watching the floor numbers rise higher and higher as they ascended.
Mark turned to the younger, a smile on his face. "You excited?"
"N-Not excited but... uh, I don't really know how to feel, actually...." Jinyoung said, his eyes never moving from the floor numbers.
Mark shrugged, the elevator dinging soon after signaling that they've reached the top floor. The doors opened slowly, showcasing a beautiful view of the city as a backdrop to a very expensive looking living room, Jackson standing just in front of the doors waiting for them with a bright smile.
"Welcome to my humble abode!" Jackson greeted excitedly, motioning for the three to walk in.
They stepped out of the elevator, looking around and taking in the luxurious interior of Jackson's home. Glass decorations and expensive looking furniture littered the place, making Jaebum feel a bit nervous of his tendency to be a bit clumsy.
"Humble? Jackson you live in a penthouse with expensive shit everywhere..." Jaebum said, voicing his inner thoughts.
Jackson huffed, placing his hands on his hips. "It can still be humble!"
"For a rich person I guess..." Mark mumbled, already throwing his stuff on the large sofa and getting comfortable.
Jackson ignored Mark's comment and turned to Jinyoung, that bright smile still on his face. Jinyoung hid behind Jaebum a bit, obviously shy to meet someone as well known as Jackson. Jaebum had never seen this side of Jinyoung before, and it was honestly the most adorable thing.
"Hi, I'm Jackson. And you are...?" Jackson greeted as nicely as he could, taking a step towards Jinyoung.
Jinyoung didn't speak, but he kept staring at Jackson as if he wanted to say something, yet couldn't.
"His name is Jinyoung." Jaebum stepped in to keep the silence from lasting too long. "He actually knows you, he's a fan but... I think he's a bit shy right now."
"You shouldn't be shy if you're a fan! How else are you gonna get to know me?" Jackson asked, with Jinyoung shrugging in response.
"He's not usually like this..." Jaebum said, glancing back at Jinyoung and noticing the embarassed blush he was wearing.
"So then let's get comfortable with each other. I'll get some snacks and we can talk more about ourselves so you can feel more open around me. I promise I don't bite." Jackson said, winking at Jinyoung before heading off to the kitchen.
Jaebum walked over to Jackson's sofa, dropping his body upon the soft cushions. He was exhusted, and it felt really good to rest on something comfortable. He felt the cushions next to him dip, looking over to see Jinyoung sitting too.
"Jinyoung what happened? Cat got your tongue?" Mark asked, also laying on the couch across from them.
Jinyoung sighed, shaking his head. "I dunno. I got nervous. I never thought I'd meet him in person, let alone stay with him in his house."
"It's okay, Jackson's a nice dude, he can make you feel comfortable really fast." Jaebum said with certainty. Jackson had such an open personality, it was nearly impossible to shut him out.
"You're starstruck." Mark gigglied, making Jinyoung's blush deepen.
"... I didn't leave the best first impression, did I?" Jinyoung said, now worried about how Jackson may think of him.
Jaebum sat up, patting Jinyoung's shoulder. "It's fine, Jackson forgets things like that. As long as you're a good person and he can trust you, he really doesn't mind having you around. I'm sure you two will get along."
"Besides, you should be happy you get to live in the same place as your celebrity crush. This is something fans only dream about, but you're actually living it!" Mark said, wiggling his eyebrows at Jinyoung.
"He's not my celebrity crush..." Jimyoung mumbled, unable to look up from the polsihed floors.
"Guess who's got snacks!" Jackson called as he brought in a huge tray of different foods for them all to eat.
They were all alert at the sound of food since none of them had eaten dinner yet. Jackson set the tray down om the coffee table, allowing them to pick and choose what they wanted to eat.
"Okay..." Jackson began as he sat down next to Mark across from Jinyoung and Jaebum. "So, you guys wanna explain to me what's going on now?"
"I think it's best if Jinyoung starts from the beginning." Mark stated as he filled his mouth with some crackers.
Jinyoung glanced at Jaebum who nodded in agreement. He then looked over at Jackson, taking in a deep breath to retell his story again, letting another person into his personal life who was hopefully willing to help him out.
