Jaebum woke up the next morning to Jinyoung's sleeping face, taking a moment to admire the beauty of him. He remembered their talk from late at night and the unusually shameless advances Jinyoung made, but he didn't remember at all when Jinyoung returned to his bed, though he was glad that he came back. He gently brushed his fingers through Jinyoung's hair, chuckling at the annoyed groan the younger made before turning over and falling back to sleep. Jaebum was really head over heels for that guy.
Yet despite how much he liked Jinyoung, he continuously kept their relationship from going too far. He did feel a bit bad, and will alway have that wonder of what might've happened last night if he didn't stop Jinyoung from going any further, but Jaebum felt it was for the best despite how much it tormented him. He decided to get up and scope out who might be awake, feeling the need to confide in someone else for advice.
It was a coincidence that he stumbled across Mark in the living room considering that's who Jinyoung's behavior the night before reminded him of. Asking Mark was probably not the best idea, but in all honesty he can be surprisingly helpful, so Jaebum decided to risk it. Mark knew Jaebum well, and he could tell that he wanted something as soon as Jaebum plopped himself on the chair across from him, looking up from his phone expectantly.
"Mark... can I ask you something?" Jaebum asked, though Mark was already waiting for him to start.
"Sure." He replied.
Jaebum took in a breath, gathering his thoughts before beginning. "Let's say you were in a relationship..."
"I am." Mark quickly stated.
Jaebum looked up surprised, he wasn't expecting that response. "Oh... so you and Jackson are serious now?"
"Well... we're working out the details, but I guess so." Mark stated with a shrug, looking away from Jaebum to hide the light blush adorning his cheeks.
Jaebum decided not to tease Mark about it (despite how much he wanted to), since his own situation was equally good enough to make fun of. "Okay well... let's say that hypothetically Jackson wanted to do uh, sexual stuff, but you wanted to wait. How would you handle that?"
"I would never be in that situation because I'm horny 24/7. 'Wait' is not in my vocabulary." Mark stated, not even blinking an eye when giving the response.
Jaebum rolled his eyes, he should've expected such an answer. "Mark shut up it's hypothetical. So Jackson wants to start being sexual and you want to as well, but you're going through a tough situation right now and you feel that it's best to wait. How do you tell him no?"
"Just say no?" Mark suggested, giving Jaebum a puzzled look.
"But... then he'll be all sad and pouty and you'll want to please him anyway, but you already told him no so going back on your word would just make it confusing..." Jaebum mumbled, remembering how disappointed Jinyoung looked after being rejected sexual contact so many times.
"Why don't you just admit that this is about you and Jinyoung?" Mark asked, reading Jaebum like an open book.
Jaebum sighed, wondering how Mark was able to see through him so well. "How do you know why I'm asking?"
"Because no one goes around asking 'hypothetical' questions like that randomly. Just tell Jinyoung no. Simple as that." Mark stated as if it were the easiest thing in the world.
"I did tell him no, but now I feel bad... and I was left regretting it anyway..." Jaebum stated, also remembering how he had to take care of the 'problem' that grew between his legs after denying Jinyoung's advances.
Mark cocked his head to the side, looking confused. "So then what do you want? Do you wanna fuck him or not?"
"Don't say it like that!" Jaebum exclaimed, feeling his cheeks heat up into an embarrassed blush.
Mark rolled his eyes. "Fine, do you wanna 'make love' to him or not?"
"That's not any better! I don't want to think about it like that..." Jaebum stated, his heart racing at just the thought of doing that.
Mark shook his head. "You're not answering the question."
Jaebum sighed. "I want to... I really want to..."
"Then case closed, pin him against the wall and make a mess of him." Mark said with a shrug.
"...but I also want to wait..." Jaebum stated, his conflicting emotions making the situation more complicated than it should be.
"Well you can't have both." Mark stated as if Jaebum didn't know that already.
Jaebum sighed, looking down at his lap. "I know..."
"So then, how do you expect me to help?" Mark asked.
Jaebum shook his head, his fingers rubbing his temples. "I don't know..."
Mark took in a breath, leaning forward and resting a reassuring hand on Jaebum's shoulder. "Look, it's not as serious as you're making it out to be. You're overthinking. If you don't want to, then just say no. But if you feel ready to take that step, well..."
"But... he wants to... and this isn't the first time he's mentioned it. I want to make him happy and give him everything he wants, but I honestly don't think now is a good time. Yet I still feel bad when he has to... um... take care of it on his own..." Jaebum said with a sigh.
Mark leaned back, looking up at the ceiling. "Don't feel bad if you're doing it for his benefit. I think Jinyoung is just trying to find a stress relief, and sex is a good way to do that."
Jaebum cocked his head to the side, trying to think of it from that angle. "You think? I mean, he did say all of this was stressful..."
Mark hummed, nodding in response. "Well, he's in a new relationship, and we're cooped up in this damn penthouse all day, I mean there's not much else to do to relieve stress around here. Me and Jackson have done it about 6 times now? Maybe 7 in the past two days?"
Jaebum made a face of disgust. "Mark you tell me stuff that I really do not need to know."
"You need to know it for Jinyoung. If you don't want to get intimate with him just yet then that's fine, but you gotta find some other way to get Jinyoung's mind off of this situation. He wants a distraction, and if dragging you to bed satisfies him and keeps him calm, then..." Mark trailed off, leaving his sentence open ended.
"Then... I should give him what he wants despite me being against it?" Jaebum asked, assuming that's what Mark was going suggest him doing.
Mark frowned, shaking his head. "No, are you listening? Stop thinking with your dick. I just told you to find something else to occupy him so he doesn't feel stressed out anymore."
"Okay, okay... I'll try something...." Jaebum stated, though he had no idea what could possibly take Jinyoung's mind off of the fact that he's a wanted person by both the police and a highly dangerous group of people who both wouldn't mind him dead.
Just as Jaebum tried to figure out what to do, Jackson quickly entered the room with his laptop in hand, taking a seat on the chair next to Mark.
He looked between Mark and Jaebum, turning his laptop around to show what was on the screen. "Guys look, I think I've got something useful."
