A few days passed. Jaebum woke up every morning, lonely again. He made himself breakfast and prepared to go to work, his little apartment feeling as big and as empty as ever. Jaebum wasn't usually like this. He usually loved having alone time and loved his little apartment. But ever since that stranger showed up to his front door, that stranger who he magically seemed to now have feelings for, he's never felt the same about his average everyday life since he returned to it.
He usually liked to read, but he couldn't focus on that. He thought of Jinyoung too much. He liked to watch T.V. too. Yet Jinyoung plagued his mind. Even his music making slowed down, since all the songs he could think of was about 'missing someone' and 'wishing you could see them everyday'. Of course he still wrote down the lyrics and melodies of them, but he never recorded them. They would just remind him of the man that he wished to see.
The week seemed to be dragging on long and it still wasn't the weekend yet. Jaebum felt bored every single day. He was bored of his house, bored of his job, bored of his life without Jinyoung. Maybe he was being over dramatic, but he didn't care. He missed his little thief.
What Jaebum looked forward to the most though was getting home in the evening. He'd grab himself some dinner and would drive straight back to his place, since everyday after work he'd give Jinyoung a call. He never wasted any time, and would get home around the same time everyday. He'd then text Jinyoung to see if he was awake or busy, and ten minutes later he would call. That was the highlight of Jaebum's day, hearing Jinyoung's voice on the other end of the line, knowing that he's safe and happy.
Of course he was following the same routine today, getting home quickly to give Jinyoung a call. He texted Jinyoung, receiving the reply that he could call. Jaebum was too eager to wait today, so he called almost immediately, the phone ringing as he waited for Jinyoung to pick up.
"Hello?"
Jaebum knew this wasn't Jinyoung's voice. "Mark? Why do you have Jinyoung's phone?"
"Oh, he was sleeping in my bed after our wild night together and he left it on my nightstand." Mark replied.
Jaebum blinked, not sure if he'd heard that correctly. "W-What?"
Mark suddenly bursted out laughing. "Just kidding! Jaebummie I got you! You should've heard yourself, you sounded like you were gonna cry!"
Jaebum frowned, his tone turning serious. "Mark that's not funny... put Jinyoung on the phone please."
Mark sighed on the other end. "Look, I know you call your boyfriend everyday, but can't you give him some space to breathe? Literally he's been talking about you for the past few days non stop."
"He's not my... wait, really? He talks about me? What does he say?" Jaebum asked, suddenly curious of what Jinyoung talks about.
Mark sighed, his exasperated tone sounding as if he was tired of hearing about all of this stuff. "He just gushes about you and talks about whatever the hell you guys talk about on the phone. He just talks about you a lot."
Jaebum felt a smile creep up on to his face, unable to hide how happy that made him feel. He was so glad that Mark couldn't see his face right at the moment, since Mark would've just teased him endlessly about it.
"Oh..." was all Jaebum could muster himself to say.
"I know you wanna talk to him, but he's in the shower right now. He told me that he had 10 minutes to take a quick shower before you called, but looks like you were too eager to even wait that long huh?" Mark said, his voice carrying out a teasing tone that still embarrassed Jaebum even though it was just through the phone.
