(34) "Operation Spy-Kids"

Chapter 34 – Kian’s POV

“Your plan is absolutely stupid” I whispered to Jamie as he, Jessica, Cole, Trevor and I walked up to school the next day. I received quite a few odd looks which is understandable as I’m never usually around my siblings or anyone really, so for me to be with them and talking is a big surprise.

“I agree, how are we going to get revenge by spying on her?” Jessica asked.

“She must have some dirt and once we find out what it is, boom, we’ll reveal it to the entire school, leading to public humiliation and being degraded from Queen Bee” Jamie answered in a know-it-all-tone.

“Boom? Really? Are you 12?” Trevor added sarcastically.

“You’ve been around Kayla way too much Trevor” Cole rolled his eyes but his jaw clenched at the mention of his older sister. Safe to say, he’s still extremely pissed at Lexi, as we all are, which is exactly why we’re getting revenge.

For her.

For my Kayla.

She stayed at home again, refusing to leave the comfort of her bed. None of us had the heart to drag her to school, so we let her be.

On the plus side, she’s with Connor.

... Actually, I’m not sure if that is a good thing.

“Don’t worry Cole, we’re gunna get that b*tch” I ground out, clenching my fists, images of Kayla crying flashing through my mind.

“So Trevor and Cole will stick together as you’re both Juniors, Jamie and I will stay together because we’re Seniors and Jessica, will you be okay on your own?” I asked my little sister who is a freshman.

Jessica rolled up her sleeves and answered “I’m 14 not 4”

“Now that we’re sorted, Operation Kick-Lexi’s-Butt-For-Kayla on the go” Jamie smirked.

“You couldn’t have thought of a smarter name?” Cole looked at Jamie as if he was stupid.

“I think he’s the four year old” Jessica chuckled.

“Do you have a better idea?” Jamie scoffed.

“As a matter of fact, I do” I smirked.

“And what is that oh dear big brother?”

“Operation Spy-Kids” I shrugged. It made sense; we’re a bunch of teenagers, except me who is an adult, that are spying. It’s pretty simple.

“Okay if we’re doing this then we need code names. Kian can be a Koala, Cole is a Cat, Trevor is a Tiger, Jessica is a Giraffe and I’m a Jaguar” He grinned.

“A giraffe doesn’t start with J though” Jessica pointed out.

“It all sounds the same” Jamie waved it off.

“Why am I a Koala?” I whined.

“It doesn’t matter!”

“Yes it does! I will not be called a Koala” I crossed my arms over my chest.

“Just shut up!”

“No!”

“All of you fucking shut up now!” Cole yelled, gathering not only our attention, but the rest of the school’s too.

“There’s nothing to see here, run along” I shooed them off, smirking at how they all scurried away. Being the mysterious loner really does have its perks.

“Thank you. Forget the code names, let’s just take this bitch down” Cole growled.

“Lexi, you better watch out” Trevor smirked.
