Sitting inside my car I was watching the raindrops on the window roll down as I was lost in my thoughts, thinking about whatever came to my mind.
It was a bad idea to get outside to earn a little bit of money late at night. It's raining heavily and it was around 3 am, who the hell would need an Uber now?
I was quietly humming to 'Stay' by Blackpink that was playing in my car, waiting for a notification to pop up on my phone as I was scrolling through my playlist to look for the next song that I wanted to listen to.
I tapped onto the next song as the notification immediately popped up and I widened my eyes, exhaling deeply.
"Finally!" I breathed out as I accepted the order and immediately started the engine to drive over to the location where they were waiting.
I checked the app to see how many passengers would enter the car and sighed when I saw that they were 4.
"They are probably drunk as hell." I mumbled as I increased the speed of my car, not caring about the speed limit since I was literally the only one on the streets.
It took me two minutes until I reached the location. I saw 4 girls standing outside a restaurant, trying their best to cover their heads with only two umbrellas but since the wind was making it hard for them to hold it, it wasn't really helpful.
"Get in, quickly." I said as I stopped next to them and they didn't even hesitate to enter the car as one of them sat down next to me.
They were all wearing masks, that made me furrow my eyebrows since they weren't really common in the country I live in but I didn't really want to stare any longer at them since it could make things awkward and creepy, not like I was able to look at them anyways since the lights went off and just left us in darkness.
To my surprise they didn't smell like alcohol at all and I sighed as I realized it would be a calm ride.
The location showed up on the gps and I started to drive as they were fixing their hair that was completely messy because of the wind.
"Why were you girls standing in front of the restaurant instead of just waiting inside of it?" I asked as they sighed.
"We got kicked out of the restaurant because we spent way too much time in there and they wanted to close it." The girl next to me said making me furrow my eyebrows.
"That sucks." I said as I looked onto my watch to check the time.
I will probably just drive home after I drive them to their location.
"Thank you so much for driving us, we thought there wouldn't be anyone to drive us home since it was so late already." One of the girls in the backseat said, making me smile.
"It's alright, I was about to drive home because nobody really needed an Uber but I got your order so I just accepted it." I answered as I heard them chuckle.
"You looked pretty cute in your profile picture, that girl sitting next to you was literally going crazy about you." One girl at the back said, making me chuckle.
"Lisa!" The mentioned girl complained loudly making the girls laugh.
"Thank you." I chuckled as I heard the girl next to me sigh.
"You're just making this situation awkward." She mumbled cutely as I smiled, looking over to her.
I couldn't really see a lot of her but I noticed how she fiddled around with her fingers, looking completely embarrassed.
"I bet you're blushing right now." The girl in the back said as I saw an arm coming to the front from the back, pinching the girls cheek.
"Stop it!" She whined, slapping her arm away.
