"Hey Y/N, do you have a pen for me? I think I forgot mine at home." I heard a sweet voice behind me, followed by a few taps on my shoulder.
I smiled as soon as I turned around and saw Jisoo looking at me, a shy smile on her face. Even though I wasn't in mood for school, I was happy that I was here because I could see Jisoo everyday.
"Sure, you can keep it until tomorrow." I smiled as I gave her the pen "What are you writing?"
I looked down onto her desk where I could see a piece of paper that was shaped like a heart but before I could read what was written on it her arms quickly covered it. I sighed as I looked back to her blushing face.
"N-Nothing." She stuttered as I showed her a weak smile.
"A love letter for Hanbin again?" I asked as she slowly nodded.
Jisoo sighed as she laid her head onto her arms, hiding her face.
"Am I stupid for writing letters to him even though I know he doesn't care about me?" She whined with her muffled voice while I caressed her arm.
"Jisoo, if you think that it's the right thing to do then you should keep doing it." I lied as sadness spread through my body "Even though he doesn't deserve it." I mumbled causing her to look back up to me.
"Sorry, I didn't quite catch that." She said as I shook my head.
"Uuhm-"
"I'm sorry for being late, the traffic was horrible." The teacher interrupted me as I turned around. It was the first time that I was happy that the teacher was here.
...
The bell rang and everybody immediately started putting their stuff into their bags. Jisoo was the first one to leave the classroom causing me to sigh.
"Why don't you move on Jisoo, he will just hurt you again." I mumbled to myself as I stood up myself with my bag on my back.
I walked down the hallway as I saw Jisoo, peeking over a corner, watching how Hanbin opened his locker. I just shook my head as I walked past her and closer to Hanbin. I saw how he looked at the heart shaped love letter from Jisoo and how he shook his head.
"Please wait until you throw it away, she's watching you." I said to him while walking past him, causing him to look at me.
I think I saw him nod before I walked out of the school, walking towards the usual place where I stay at when it's lunch break. It was only a small green spot that was covered by some trees and bushes. The perfect spot to isolate myself from everyone else and to recharge my energy for what's coming next.
"Yo Y/N, do you want to skip the next few classes? I'm really not in the mood for it." Jae asked as he fought his way through the bushes to get closer to me.
I laid down onto the green grass with a sigh, thinking about his offer. I just shrugged my shoulders with a nod.
"Sure, I don't have any classes with Jisoo anymore anyways." I said with closed eyes as I heard him chuckle.
"You're still not giving up?" He asked causing me to sigh.
"I don't really know if I gave up or not. I think there's still a little bit of hope inside of me."
...
Jisoo's POV
He didn't throw it away! He didn't throw it away like every single day before that. I couldn't be any happier!I started skipping my way towards the place that Y/N showed me, so I could calm down myself a little bit but before I could make my way through the bushes I heard some voices.
