It was one of these date nights with my wonderful girlfriend Rosé. There was a huge event in the city and there were a lot of small shops on the street.
„Oh my god Y/N! I want this one!" Rosé squealed, jumping up and down while clapping into her hands.
„Alright baby, I'm gonna win it for you." I said confidently trying to sound as cool as possible.
I walked over to the shooting thingy and the owner gave me a gun. I just had to hit three of these balloons in front of me and the teddy bear that Rosé wants is mine.
*Bang*
Oh damn, this is way too easy, I might as well just win the whole shooting stand.
*Bang*
Easy...
*Bang*
YES! That's it! The three balloons I was aiming for all popped and I smiled to the shop owner.
„Uhm... sir... You were shooting at the decoration, the balloons you should shoot are over there." He said pointing to his left.
„Oh...."
He took the gun away from me and handed it over to another guy trying to win something for his girlfriend. Rosé and I watched him hitting all of these balloons and he won the teddy bear Rosé wanted, giving it to his girlfriend. I looked over to Rosé who was just standing there with a totally sad face making my heart ache.
„Rosé, there's an ice cream truck. Get us some ice cream, I'm gonna be right there." I said and pointed to it.
„Hmm." She hummed and I could see how sad she was as she walked over to it.
I turned around and faced the shooting stand owner.
„I'm sorry, is it possible to just buy these plushies here?"
„Sure, but it will be more expensive." He said politely.
„Ah, that's not a problem, please give me that huge teddy bear."
I pointed onto the teddy bear who was sitting on the floor because it was way too big to fit onto the wall.
„Sir, this bear costs around 100$, are you sure you want it?" He said making me open my eyes widely.
I just sighed.... well it's for Rosé, I can't leave her sad like this. I just nodded and handed him the money while he gave me that huge teddy bear that was easily as tall as a 12 year old boy.
I carried it in both of my hands while walking over to the ice cream truck, I saw Rosé walking back to me with one ice cream in each of her hand and she immediately dropped both of them when she saw the bear making me whine.
„OH MY GOD Y/N, I LOVE YOU SO MUCH." She screamed while taking the bear and hugging it like a baby.
She immediately made me smile, her eyes were sparkling and I could see a tear rolling down her cheek. We both sat down onto a bench, Rosé sitting between me and the bear. I cupped her cheeks chuckling a little bit.
„Why are you crying Rosé?" I asked with a wide smile while wiping away the tear with my thumb.
„I'm just happy about you being my boyfriend, I can't explain how much I love you, I want to be with you forever." She said with her cute voice.
I couldn't resist anymore and kissed her soft lips, she melted into the kiss and the kiss was full of love making me smile into it. We pulled back, looking into each others eyes.
„I love you Rosé." I whispered.
„I love you too Y/N."
Our stare contest got interrupted by slow music playing and we could see a lot of people walking to the middle of the park to dance with their partner. I stood up and offered my hand to Rosé.
„Would you like to dance, princess?" I asked bowing down making her giggle.
„If it's with you I always would like to dance." She said taking my hand and standing up.
We walked over to the dancing people and immediately went with the rhythm of the slow song. My left hand on her waist and her right hand on my shoulder while our other hands intertwined with each other.
We kept looking into each others eyes and we both were just smiling. I love seeing her this happy, I want to see her smile like this everyday I wake up.
„I wanted to do this for such a long time." I said smiling.
„You mean dancing with me?" She asked.
I just shook my head while kneeling down and taking out a small box out of my pocket. Her hands immediately covered her mouth.
„Rosé, my one and only, my princess... do you want to marry me?" I asked while opening the box slowly showing her the diamond ring I bought for this special moment.
Tears falling down her cheeks and I could see her smile behind her hands.
„Oh my god Y/N. YES! YES I WANT TO!" She said and I stood up immediately kissing her.
People around us stopped dancing and started clapping making both of us smile into the kiss. All the lights were on us now while the whole crowd watched us. We pulled away just looking at each other with a wide smile.
Both of our faces now covered by happy tears and I took the ring out of the box and put it on her ringfinger, making the people around us clap again.
We kissed each other again and we didn't stop for a few minutes. As we both stopped we walked back to the bench we were before and she grabbed the teddy bear and we started walking back to our apartment.
Hand in hand with my wife.
