Woods' POV

I was awoken by Tanner nudging me slightly. "Morning sleepyhead" he smiled. I laughed a little and and stretched, kicking Tanner off the sofa. I couldn't help but laugh although I did feel bad. Luckily Tanner was also laughing. "Thanks for that" he chuckled.

"Do you want some bacon?" He asked and I shot up.

"Bacon?! Of course I do!" I grinned.  Tanner just laughed and headed to the kitchen. I went upstairs to get changed. I decided to wear my clothes that I feel most confident in. My black jeans and flannel. Once I was changed, Tanner shouted me from downstairs. "Woods, your bacon is ready." I ran downstairs as quick as I could nearly falling on the bottom step. "Wow, You're excited.." Tanner chuckled.

I grabbed the plate and sat down on the sofa. For some reason, it reminded me of my childhood. I would wake up to the smell of bacon and I would know my dad had cooked me and my sister breakfast. It was amazing. That memory seems to come back every time I  smell bacon now. "Are you still excited for this trip?" Tanner asked.

"Yeah actually, I am" I said cheerily. I've not felt so good in years. The last time I felt this good was when my sister and dad were alive.

-Time Skip-

"ReMemBEr MeE fOR CeNTuRIeSs" We sang in unison. I was laughing. Tanner was laughing. Matt was laughing. Paul was laughing. Connor was laughing. CJ was laughing.  I was actually happy. I felt so grateful for this moment. "Are we nearly there yet?" Paul whined jokingly. Matt replied as he chuckled.

"No my dear son not quite"

"But dadddddd"

"We are nearly there then, whatever you say." We laughed.

I was just looking at the view outside the car window. "Can we stop to take some pictures?" I asked nervously.

"I mean yeah why not." Matt said and stopped the car in a nearby lay-by. We all climbed out of the car and looked at the view. We were on the side of a mountain somewhere. We were surrounded by mountains cover in trees and vineyards. "Are we staying in the mountains then?" CJ asked.

"Maybe but maybe not" Matt replied. It seemed like only Matt and Tanner knew where we were going. CJ, Connor, Paul and I were left to try and guess where we were going. We all got back in the car and set off again. After about an hour I began to see water. "Are we on the coast?!" I exclaimed. Everybody looked out of their window and the mood lifted. We were tired from travelling but now excitement seemed to completely override it. We carried on driving for about five minutes before reaching a stop by the beach.

We all got out and stretched our legs. Matt went to retrieve a bag from the boot of the car and slammed it shut before leading us all onto the beach. He pulled out foldable poles, a net and a ball. "Who's playing then?" he said as he began to set up. Everybody ran over to him and Paul snatched the ball and hit it in the air and we all ran to try and catch it. Connor and Tanner ran into each other and we all laughed like idiots. "Right, how do you want to play. Run around and hit or teams?" Paul asked.

"Run and hit" Connor replied. We all agreed and Matt came over after he had set up the poles and net. "Lets play then. You three start over there then" Paul said. We all got into place and Paul hit the ball over the net towards CJ and ran to the other side of the net and we kept hitting it back and forth. I Ran forwards about to hit the ball and slipped. I ended up flat on my face. We all laughed again. We all fell over at some point during the game and there was a lot of shouting and cheering and people missed the ball completely or slipped.

We kept playing until sunset. We all stopped and sat down, exhausted from running around maniacally. Me and Tanner decided to go a little further up the beach. We sat, his hand on top of mine watching the sun slowly lower over the ocean. It was beautiful. Purples, reds and oranges over the crystal clear water. "How are you doing?" He asked.

"I'm really good thanks, how are you?"

"I'm good too" He smiled. We became silent again but it was comfortable. The light sound of waves lapping on the shore was so relaxing, it was almost intoxicating. For some reason being outdoors in nature made me feel so calm. It was nice just to relax and not have to worry about a thing. Tanners dog Cassie had gone to stay with J- Fred because apparently he is good with dogs and had one of his own . I had not met him yet but I guess I will when we get back. I'm nervous about it but with Tanners support I should be okay.

"Hey, Love birds, You coming back?" Matt shouted over to us. He earned a small chuckle from me and Tanner as we got up and headed back over. We walked slowly, continuing to hold hands. Why do I feel so safe with this man?

"We are heading to where we are staying, It's only two minutes down the beach by foot. In fact you can see where we are staying from here. They had packed up the equipment and put it back in Matts car. We collected our bags and began to walk.

After a short walk we arrived. "Here we are." We were stood in front of trees with small huts in them. "We're staying in a tree house?! Oh my gosh I love this." I giggled like a child and clapped slightly. "I love you guys, like seriously this is the best thing ever!" I was so happy. The guys just looked at me and we walked towards the huts. "This one is yours and Tanners. That is Connor and CJ's and that one is mine and Paul's.

We all headed off to our own huts. "Goodnight guys" Matt said.

"Night" Everyone replied.

Tanner and I headed up the steps and entered the hut. "This is so cute." Small plants in pots were sat in the windows and there was a small note reading "Have a nice stay :)"

Me and Tanner changed into our Pj's and sat out on the little balcony area. We held hands again and looked up. The stars looked different here. They seemed brighter. They scintillated more. It was amazing. Each star held its own secret. Each star was a different person. One star seemed particularly bright.

I named that star Tanner...
