Woods' POV
I woke up for the first time in a few days, not next to Tanner. I was back in the spare room. He had already gone to work but left me a note on the kitchen side. "See you soon. Breakfast in the fridge. -Tanman x"

I smiled but felt a small shoot of pain raced through my body. It was weird. I knew I had nobody again but I was still grateful to have him in my life. I grabbed the food from the fridge and ate a little bit before placing the rest back in the fridge. I couldn't eat much in the mornings because it made me feel sick.

I headed back upstairs and got ready for work. I put on some music and danced around as I got ready. It was really good. I immediately felt that today was going to be a good day, even after everything that had happened yesterday.

When I headed back downstairs I saw Cassie laying calmly by the door. I let her out into the garden and she brought me her frisbee. I picked it up and patted her on the head before throwing it as far as I possibly could. She sprinted after it like her life depended on it. I laughed to myself and brought it back. "You're a good girl Cass, you know that?" I smiled. "Come here" I patted my leg slightly and she dropped the disc and walked towards me. I sat on the ground and she sat next to me and pushed her head into my chest slightly.

I patted her gently on the head and ruffled her fur. She flopped on the floor next to me. I grinned. "At least somebody loves me." I chuckled. She nudged me slightly because I forgot to pat her for a moment or two. "Alright, alright. You go and play for a little bit. I've got to keep getting ready."

I moved a little and she jumped up. She ran straight to her frisbee and brought it towards me. I through it one last time before heading inside. I continued to get ready as I danced around.

About an hour passed. The time flew by. Luckily I wasn't working until later otherwise I would be very late. I didn't want to have to go to work and deal with Tanner. I knew he would probably try and act like everything was normal but things would never be the same. I wanna take it all back. Say I'm okay and be done with it. I tried to stop thinking about it.

I shouted Cassie inside and she came rushing in. "Good girl. I'm going to work, see you later" I ruffled her fur and left.

On the drive to work, I danced happily and sang along to the music. I was genuinely happy. It felt great.

When I reached work, I saw Paul and Tanner just leaving blue base. I carried on driving and tried not to draw attention to myself. I'm pretty sure I went unnoticed. I drove back around and parked in blue base car park. I turned off the engine and sat for a little bit. I could here the cars passing in the distance and the tick of the engine as it cooled. I always liked to sit in the car after a long drive and listen to the engine, for some reason I found it really soothing so I always liked to do it. I was early for work anyway in the end so I had a little time to kill.

I sipped the last drop of coffee and hesitantly got out of the car and headed inside blue base. Tanner and Paul were out of sight by this point so I was safe to go in. "Morning Woods!" I heard CJ say next to me.

"Morning CJ" I replied excitedly.

"You're very cheerful this morning. What's put you in such a good mood?!" He chuckled.

"Just got to jam out in the car this morning. Music really helps me get through my day ya know?" I answered.

CJ smiled. "Good, I'm glad you have something. Right, I have got some work to do but we can talk later." He began to walk away.

"See ya." I said as I headed for my office.

I saw a small note on my desk. I didn't really want to read it as I knew it would probably be from Tanner. I didn't want to be put in a lower mood so I pushed it aside and sat down at my desk. I put my headphones in and began working quietly.

A few hours passed and I got loads of work done. Tanner was away from the office and so I wasn't getting distracted. I was really happy with my progress. Matt burst through the door with a massive camera. "So, guys, this is Woods. He is helping out with GG shoots and editing a few videos for us. Say hi Woods." He said enthusiastically. I hated being on camera so I did feel a lot of pressure.

"Hey" I spoke up. Matt smiled and began talking to the camera as he walked out. He came back a few minutes later, this time not with his camera.

"You don't mind me using that footage do you?" He asked sincerely. I shook my head.

"Go ahead, I mean I don't see why not. Sorry if I was awkward, I just don't like being on camera, that's all." I said nervously.

Matt laughed a little. "You will get used to it working here, people randomly just walk in and film you and you just get used to it and go with the flow. Has anybody else introduced you yet?" He asked.

"Um no. You're the first." I stated.

"Ah okay. Well expect others randomly bursting in soon then." He chuckled. "How are you getting on?" He walked over to look at my work. "Oh wow, that looks great Woods, keep it up!" He patted me on the back and smiled.

"Thanks. I feel really good so I have got a lot of work done today, It's great" I grinned. Matt continued to smile as he walked out.

I heard the front door open followed by Paul's voice. I guessed he would be with Tanner so stayed quiet. He burst in with his camera out. "Hey Woods." He pointed the camera towards me and I waved and smiled. I guess Matt was right. I smiled a little at the thought and Paul began talking to the camera. There was no  sign of Tanner though. I kind of zoned out but I could still hear Paul chattering to his camera.

I knew I had a lot more of this to come. But I am happy here so I guess I will have to get used to this. Who knows, maybe one day I will have my own channel. I mean I doubt it, but you never know. For some reason, this thought brought a small smile to my face.
