I sat alone with Cameron across from me. Its 2 am and my eyes kept burning from all the crying I had done. Ky still wasn't back and Cameron was trying to cool down. Matt left an hour ago after kicking Nash out. My mind wondered to the convo I over heard. He was getting married, after 2 years he was the one happy. Don't get me wrong I was happy with Nash but I lost too much. I looked down at my hands, I still had our wedding ring on. I played with it.
"Take it off." Cameron bitterly said. I looked up at him. his head leaning back on the couch, his eyes closed and fist clenched on his knees. I slid the ring off me throwing as far as I could.
"Are you going to do the divorce filing?" he asked
"No, Sammy is." I couldn't do it, so I'm going to ask Sammy. Him and Jane were the only two that stayed beside me.
"you can stay here as long as you want" he says opening his eyes. his brown eyes bore into mine and I feel guilty.
'Cameron -" I begin.
"No, I understand and I forgive you baby Girl" he grins. I give one in return.
"I think I need to go back to the house soon, its mine anyway he cant stay there" I say puffing out my cheeks.
"Good," he says, we hear the door creek. Our heads snap towards the entrance. Ky appears with her hairy messy she is grumbling as she sets her things down. She looks at Cameron and I.
"Long day at work?" Cameron speaks first.
"Ya stupid clients " she curses. I smile remembering how she got mad if a case wasn't going good. The little huff and curses she sent into the air. She groaned landing on the couch next to me.
"I heard what happened." She say looking at me. I look away not wanting to talk about the fresh wound.
"Ya" I sigh out.
"I forgive you, you know I missed you" she says stretching her arms. I smile leaning into the hug. Cameron smiles at us.
"But you need to make it up to us, I want a car" she teases.
"I want a new phone" he adds. I laugh
"Got it"
"Where is Nash now?"
"No idea" I say, I don't wanna see him not until he signs the papers. He better agree to sign them to.
"How-How?" Ky asks.
"In his trailer" I lock eyes with Cameron.
"That hoe" she says, I laugh throwing my head back.
"Sorry" I say still laughing. I had this weird thing happen to me, If I was sad or angry I would end up crying then laughing my ass off like a crazy person.
"did you call Matt?" Cameron asks. I stop laughing. I shake my head no.
"He saw the paps on me and he told them off" I explain,
"oh."
" I heard you guys" I spill out before I could stop myself.
"Her name is Melody" Ky says, I nod my head.
"She isn't as pretty as you" she grins. Making me laugh.
"I'm just glad he is happy." I sigh out.
"You aren't sad about it?" they ask. I shake my head no.
"He's happy that's all I ever wanted for him"
"Do you still love him?" Ky asks slowly. I look down at my hands.
