Chapter 52: Meet the Medic

In the castle, Proton was performing "surgery" on Imor. During the past month, he was creating a new weapon to aid his allies. It's a device that when activated, will instantly turn any Oozai into an unstoppable super soldier. He's not just a doctor, but also a scientist.

Imor was laying on a hospital bed, with his torso...wide open, and a strange device was sending a wave similar to a healing spell to keep him alive. Proton had just cut out his heart, and was currently telling him a medical story.

(Proton)"...and when the patient woke up, his skeleton was missing, and the doctor was never heard from again!"

(Imor)".........HAHAHAHAHH!"

He laughed so hard, he slammed a table of surgical equipment.

(Proton)"Whew...anyway, that's how my teacher lost his medical license."

(Imor)"Wait...what?"

He picked up a small device from the other table. It was shaped like half a sphere, and had three spikes on the flat end. It had the words, "Maximum Overdrive" on the base.

(Proton)"Now, normal hearts couldn't withstand this must power, but I'm pretty sure that Oozai hearts will-"

He placed the device in the center of the heart, and as soon as it made contact with the healing ray, it exploded.

(Imor)"..."

(Proton)"...Sh*t."

He went to his fridge, and took out a much larger heart. Behind it was a severed head.

(Proton)"Ah, there we go."

(Head)"Kill me."

(Proton)"Later."

He attached the device, and when he put it in front of the beam, it started to beat.

(Proton)"Come on...come on...!"

It was now glowing red.

(Proton)"Haha...hahaha! HAHAHAHA!!"

(Imor)"Ha...ha...ha?"

In a burst of light, the heart was now dark red,and beating by itself.

(Proton)"Oh, that looks good."

He dropped it into Imor's open stomach.

(Imor)"Uh...should I be awake for this?"

(Proton)"Well, not really. But as long as you are, could you hold open your chest for a second. I can't...seem to-"

(Imor)"AH!"

While Proton shoved the heart in Imor's chest, he accidentally tore off a piece of himself.

(Proton)"Oh, don't be such a baby, it'll grow back!"

Proton moved the healing machine closer, and in just a few seconds, Imor's torso was good as new.

(Imor)"Well, what happens now?"

(Proton)"Now? Let's go practice medicine..."

The green Oozai got into his armor, and Proton took a special remote, and put on two mechanical gloves that had the health symbol on the forearm.

Outside, things weren't looking good. With the Determined dead, the Duin-Bots used rocket launchers. Injured soldiers littered the battlefield left and right.

(Crossbowmen)"M-Medic...!"

Proton's gloves began to glow with a green energy, as he blasted the Oozai with a beam, which healed his broken legs.

He then spotted a Royal Guardsmen, who's arm was broken, and a Duin-Bot was just about to finish him off. He blasted him, and he was healed also, even his cracked armor. He grabbed his rapier, and turned the Android into metallic swiss cheese.

(Imor)"Doctor! Are you sure this will work?!"

(Proton)"Hah! I have NO idea!"

The mad doctor pressed the button on his remote, and Imor began to change. Bright blue beams shot out of his eyes, and his adrenaline was going through the roof.

(Imor)"Yah! HAHAHAH!!!"

The Duin-Bots all launched rockets at him, only for each one to bounce off.

(Imor)"Hah! I AM BULLET PROOF!"

He then summoned thousands of arrows, and hundreds of Oozai Cannons, vaporizing and stabbing Duin-Bots by the hundreds.

(Zacharie)"...So that's what they were doing...damn."

In just a few minutes, Imor destroyed every last robots, and was standing on top of a huge pile he made out of them.

(Omega)"I never mentioned. Imor's actually blind in his left eye, that's why it was black. But it's fixed in his 'Overdrive' state."
