The snowflakes were beautiful. Everything was beautiful. The lights, the snow, the Christmas trees, Christmas in New York was always nice.

I stood, alone walking through the streets of New York. I had a few things to do.

I walked into the toy store and walked straight towards the items I've been saving up for these past 2 months. A locket, where I would put a picture of myself and Riley in, the latest issue of Space Werewolves, a comic series Farkle is obsessed with, and a blue cowboy hat, that said "Cowboy at heart".

I bought them all, and some wrapping paper. I walked out of the store. I shivered as I sat on the cold, snowy bench. I wrapped each of the gifts, stuck my card on them, and went to deliver them, like Santa Claus.

I saw Farkle and his family gather around their Christmas tree. They all looked happy. Farkle was smiling. Not laughing. But smiling. I rang the doorbell, put the gift on the doorstep and ran.

Lucas looked cute in his pajamas. He seemed happy, his whole family was there, and I wish I could've went in there and said hi to his western family. But I couldn't. And every second I looked at him, the more it hurt. I placed the gift in front of the door, knocked, and ran away.

***

I couldn't bring myself to look at the Matthews. I just told the elderly man who lives on the same floor as them to deliver it to them. He kindly took the package, and I left that night with a smile on my face.
