Maya's pov

~

I had a bad feeling about this party. I don't know why I was going. Riley just wouldn't take no for an answer, and if I didn't go she would've went anyway. I thought it would be better if I were they're to make sure she didn't get into any trouble.

I can't believe that I was the one convincing Riley not to go to a party. Usually it would have been the opposite. But not in this case.

I knew Chuck Gilbert. He was bad news. Really bad news.

Last year his sister and I became friends. When I used to go over to her house, I saw Chuck in the backyard doing drugs with his friends. When I mentioned it to his sister she shrugged it off saying she had tried it and it wasn't that bad. I stopped hanging out with her after she offered me some drugs.

Everything is going to be fine. I thought. You're just paranoid.

I hoped I was right.

"Are you sure about this?" I asked.

"Yes. What could possibly happen?" Riley said.

"You know when people say that, bad stuff usually happen."

She laughed and we both went through the window.

We met Lucas and Farkle at the party.

Farkle was fidgeting, playing with his hands, clearly nervous. Lucas looked relaxed and ready to party.

"Hey Riley, let me show you the snack bar. It's awesome." She smiled and they both left. I was left alone with Farkle.

"I don't like this." He said.

"Me either." I agreed.

He tried his best to hide his shocked expression. "Why is that exactly? Wouldn't you usually be the first one at a party like this?"

I sighed.

"Farkle, this guy Chuck, he isn't a good guy. He used to do drugs. When I heard Riley was coming to this party, I spoke to his sister to make sure that he wasn't doing them anymore. Apparently, he isn't. I just...I don't know."

Farkle took a step towards me.

"Just be careful. Okay?"

"Okay."

We went to find Lucas and Riley in the crowd when I spotted someone with a flask. And another one with a champagne bottle. Farkle pointed at a guy handing someone a pack of white powder. Drugs.

"We need to get out if here. NOW." I said.

He nodded frantically.

But we couldn't find Lucas and Riley.

Then Chuck came up to me.

"Hey sexy." He said. He slurred his words a bit. "Wanna play spin the bottle?"

Farkle took a step forward at put his hand over me protectively.

"No. We were actually just leaving."

"Aww, that's that's no fun. Come play with us. Your friends are there."

Farkle looked at me.

"Fine." I said.

He lead us into a room. It was dim, and on the floor was Riley, Lucas, 2 of Chuck's friends and a girl.

"Guys we need to leave." I went to help Riley up but she stood up on her own, tumbling and yelled:

"I'm the queen of the world! I do what I want! And I'm not leaving!" She giggled.

Oh my god. She was drunk. Lucas stood up too.

"And I can be the king!" He chuckled and Riley laughed along with him.

"Gus what the hell?!" I shouted. Farkle looked equally upset.

I approached Chuck.

"Why do you have alcohol? And drugs? Do you know how much trouble you can get in for this?"

He smirked and grabbed my hand pulling me against him.

"Let go of me." I said calmly.

"Why don't you kiss me?"

I yanked my hand out if his grip and kicked him in the knee.

He howled in pain then smiled.

"You and your friends can leave if you play a round of spin the bottle."

I gave him a dirty look. "Fine. Whatever."

Farkle and I sat down. Chuck went first.

"Hopefully it's you darling." He said seductively, looking at me.

I stared in horror as the bottle stopped moving at pointed at Riley. Talk about disturbing.

She giggled and Chuck moved towards her. They kissed and it lasted about a few seconds when Riley pulled away.

Chuck grinned.

"Not bad."

I looked at him in disgust.

"You're a perv." I said.

"You're hot." He replied.

Ugh. He was so repulsive.

My turn was next. I groaned and took the bottle. I prayed it wouldn't point at Chuck. When it didn't I was relieved, until I realized it was pointed at Lucas.

"Shit."

I looked at Riley. The expression on her face switched from carefree to bothersome.

"Riley-"

"Just do it."

"But-"

"Maya, it's a game. Just do it."

I nodded. Riley finally got over the fact that Lucas and I had kissed, and now we were about to do it again.

Lucas looked nervous as he approached me.

"Um, are you sure...? I mean-"

"Just kiss me." I snapped. I didn't want to overthink it. Riley said it was fine. Besides, she was drunk.

He didn't wait for me to ask again. He grabbed the hem of my shirt and pulled me towards him. Our kiss didn't last as long as the last one.

I think Lucas would have kept going if I hadn't pulled alway.

"Great. Let's go." I said.

Chuck shook his finger.

"No not yet. Farkle must go. Then you can leave."

Annoyed I sat down on the floor again. Farkle looked nervous. He spun the bottle, and it pointed at the 9th grade girl who was sitting next to Chuck.

She smiled as Farkle came towards her.

"You're cute."

"Um thanks."

Farkle would usually be excited for a chance to make out with a 9th grader, but I could tell he was concerned. He knew these people were bad news.

Suddenly there was a loud noise, the sound of a door being busted open.

"This is the police." I voice shouted from the other room.

"Crap." Said Chuck. "We're busted."

I knew this party was going to take a bad turn. I grabbed Riley's arm and Farkle grabbed Lucas.

The door broke off its hinges. The cops walked in.

"You are all arrested for the use off illegal substances such as coke, weed and other drugs."
