Farkle's pov

~

I knew this year was going to be different. This year, I was going to get Maya to go out with me. Since the 1st grade I've had a crush on her but I was always kind of scared of her. But this year I'm not. Okay, maybe I am but not as much as before.

My mom usually drives me to school, but today I was talking the subway. I knew Maya would be there.

As I stepped on the I saw Maya talking to Lucas the new kid. I gasped. How dare he? I welcomed him into this city and now he goes behind my back and talks to my girl?

I approached them angrily.

"Excuse me?! What is this? What are you doing talking to my girlfriend?" I shouted.

Lucas looked at me then back at Maya.

"Oh you guys are...?" Maya took a step towards me.

"No we aren't." She said. "Farkle what do you want?"

I smiled. She's so into me. "Nothing. Carry on sweetheart." I went to seat down next to Riley.

She smiled. "Hey Farkle."

Another girl that was totally into me.

"Hellooooo lady" I said.

She giggled. "Um Farkle...you know that Maya doesn't really like you?"

"Huh?"

"She doesn't like you."

"She does so."

"Does not."

"You're just jealous." I said. "Don't worry, you're not the only one. I have that effect on ladies."

Before she could answer, Maya called her over. "Lucas, this is Riley. Riley this is Lucas, the cowboy from Texas." She grinned and sat down next to me.

I stared into her beautiful blue eyes.

"Hello Maya." I said in a deep voice. She looked at me and laughed.

"Oh look we're here. Thank god." She got up again grabbed Riley's hand and followed the croud outside.
