Lexi's POV

I woke up early the next morning with a smile on my face. For the first time. I checked the time to see that it was 5:45 am. I threw the covers off of me and stepped down from the bed when 'Count on me' by Bruno Mars started playing letting me know it was Chrystal calling me.

"How come you're awake this early?" I asked her in a surprised tone after I answered the phone.

"Good Morning to you too. Why I am awake this early is not important....But you know what is. I want details girl!"

I laughed at her cheerful tone.

"Okay,okay. I'll tell you but not over the phone. How about you meet me at my locker and we can skip first period and get some breakfast? " I suggested.

"Sounds perfect! See you later."

I laughed again and threw my phone onto my bed and then got into the bathroom to shower.

I took extra time getting ready mainly beacause She looks so perfect by 5 Seconds of Summer was blasting from my speakers and I was dancing to it.

Anyway, at exactly 6:45, I was standing in front of my full length mirror assessing my outfit one last time.

Turquoise jeans, black top and black converse. I think I looked pretty good. As for my makeup, I added a touch of eyeshadow to my usual mascara and clear lip gloss.

I picked up the hairbrush and ran it through my hair. As soon as I placed the brush back down I heard my phone buzz. I picked it and immediately felt my lips tug into a smile.

Colton : Morning beautiful! ;)

Me: Morning handsome xX

Colton: Look out your window xx

I rushed to the window to see Colton leaning against his car. As soon as he saw me, he smiled and waved.

I didn't waste a minute before picking up my phone and my school bag and rushing down the stairs.

Jake was sitting at the counter having his breakfast. I quickly went over to him and pecked him on the cheek.

"Colton's driving me to school." I said.

"What about your breakfast?" He asked me.

"Don't worry, I made plans with Chrystal. " I yelled before stepping out.

"Hey" I said as soon as I got to his car.

"Morning" he said with a smile before opening the door for me to get in.

"Are you going to do this everytime I ride with you?" I asked him chuckling.

"Is that even a question?"

We both laughed and I pecked him on the cheek before he went over to the drivers' side.

When he started driving, he reached over and took my hand in his and of course his touch sent tingles down my spine.
