"Thank you for having me over... I was short on my food supplies, would get them fixed up with P'Manee." Kong said a little nervously while looking at Chiya who hadn't spoken up more than two syllables this whole time, she acted normal, not angry and almost mistaken to be totally fine until Kong realised that she wasn't meeting his eyes at all, nor speaking altogether.

It was Sunday and Kong had nothing better to do, he was done with his morning jog and had reached Arthit's place to meet Chiya as soon as he could, he needed to apologise to her.

"It's fine, you can always be here for breakfast with me." Chiya said, she looked like she was devoid of any rage, she looked like she was feeling somewhat defeated, she didn't want to fight over anything.

"Chiya, are you angry?" He finally asked.

"What? No." She shrugged and smiled again.

"Okay..." Kong sighed before taking the chopsticks waiting for her to join in for the breakfast after she had served him all the food.

"Okay, Kong... sorry I can't eat with you but I'm kind of running late, I have a few friends to meet, just ask the maid to clean up the table once you're done." She said hastily, still not looking at him while picking up her handbag and leaving out of the place at once.

Kong was confused and upset, it was the first time he faced this kind of silent treatment from her, she hadn't even clung to him like she did most of the time, she looked like a wreck, if not outside but Kong could feel how her head seemed to be going through a bazillion thoughts.

And that was thing about the people in this Empire, no body looked at peace, all of them looked like they were having numerous things going through their head that they never voiced.

What made him unsettled was the fact that he had braced himself that she was going to storm at him with all kinds of shouts and curses for going so against her, and damn, he had one hell of a ridiculous make out with Knot.

Luckily enough, when Kong had called him to apologise over the phone, Knot said he couldn't remember anything, and that solved most of the issues at hand.

"What're you doing here?"

Kong was startled when he heard Arthit's voice, he looked up from his food to find the other skipping down the stairs while adjusting his tie on the way.

Arthit had stopped at the end of the stairs, staring at him and Kong realised the chopstick in his hand had dropped.

Kong looked down to eat, "Having breakfast, blind or what?"

"You better shut that mouth of yours." Arthit hissed before reaching for his shoes, eyeing Kong all this time.

Kong rolled his eyes, he almost jumped back when Arthit had walked to him like lightning, slamming his hand beside his plate and glaring right at him, a little crouched until Kong felt trapped there with Arthit's other hand on Kong's chair.

"Get the hell away-"

"Don't test my patience Kongpob!" He hissed and Kong glared back at him.

"Don't dare roll your eyes at me again! All this you enjoy, the expensive suits, this food right here! That all privileges you get, are all because of me, don't forget that you were nothing and it was me who got you trained, that gave you more than you deserve!"

Arthit was glaring at him, his resentment for him that was not dying down anytime soon.

"What the hell you're talking about?" Kong uttered, with as much rage as him.

"You FORCED me in this shit! I never asked for any of it, never asked for my friends' and my orphanage's lives at stake, never asked for being tortured mercilessly until I almost gave up!"
