A/N: A super quick update because I love you guys! I don't usually reply anymore without blurting a spoiler so forgive me if I don't reply but do know your comments mean way too much for me, thanks! ❤️❤️

Sorry if it's short but I wanted to write one quickly because I felt too enthusiastic after all the support I've been receiving for this dark theme, yeah, that's all I've to say.  ✌️

“Is he dead or what?”

Kong heard a muffled whisper somewhere near him, but he felt way too comfortable.

He could feel warmness around him, scent of medicines and creams everywhere.

“I think he is waking up.”  He heard another voice.

He groaned internally, hissing out loud when he felt the throbbing pain in his ribs.

“Wake up, sleeping beauty.”  He heard simultaneous girlish giggles.

Kong sighed, he hated this, where was he again?

He opened his eyes as a rather worn out ceiling wall with evident leaking by one of the corners came to view, an equally wrecked ceiling fan in view, he looked beside to find two girls, kids, probably around twelve, looking at him rather intently.

He looked away at the other side to find a side table, over which he found a whole bundle of medicines and tubes.

“I’m Ice.”

“Huh?” Kong turned back to the two girls, “She’s Earth…. We were told to wake you up.” The girl said, Kong had no whatsoever emotion at the moment, he was already plotting his way, firstly making sense of where exactly was he?

“Yeah, and come next door, mom made you breakfast.” Earth said before grabbing her sister’s hand and leaving Kong all to himself.

Kong dragged himself to sit, looking around the dingy room, it was just a small room with a bed, and a single small table, a chair by the corner with a pair of clean white shirt and black trouser and nothing else.

He looked down to realise he was wearing nothing but his underwear under the blanket that covered him, all his injuries were bandaged rather properly, what bothered him the most was the huge bandage that was wrapped around his rib area.

He held his head, his headache seemed to have dissipated enough to let his consciousness kick in.

He was captive.

And that gave him enough panic as he jumped out of the rough bed, wearing the clothes kept on the chair, his injuries still hurting him as he walked, luckily enough, that man Tanawat hadn’t injured his legs at all.

He walked out of the room to realise that it was a whole compound area with various apartments with one room like that, not many looked occupied but some were, and there were mostly kids playing outside the doors of their rooms.

It was like dorm compounds but with even more deteriorating condition.

“Kongpob?”

He looked beside to find a lady coming out of apartment next to his, she looked young but still older than him.

“Come in.” She said before walked back in, and having nothing else to do, Kong followed her inside her room, to find the two girls from earlier playing with cars by a corner while the lady had put out some food into a bowl and offered to him while signing him to sit infront of her on the floor.

The food tasted surprisingly good, or probably it was because Kong hadn’t had a single grain for the last twenty four hours.

“You like it? Do you need more?” She asked,

Kong glanced at the container with the extra food, barely enough to feed the two girls.

“No.” Kong shook his head slightly while returning the bowl.
