"How did you land up in the factory? Who tipped you off?"Kong tried hard not to squint in the sudden brightness of the room that flashed in the previously dark basement and he was facing this rather hard faced man, tall and rage flashing in his eyes, Kong could even catch fear in those eyes as he held Kong's collar, trying to shake him, but Kong still felt too dizzy and drugged to speak anything.
When Kong had opened his eyes, he had felt the buzzing in his head, a cloth near his hands, definitely the one that had covered his eyes previously, and when he had tried to lift his hands he had realised the heavy chains that his limbs were bound in.
He realised he was lying there in cold darkness and all he saw was darkness and coldness around him.
Not until this man had walked in, abruptly switching the light on to make him realise he was lying in a basement of sorts and then the man had started to bombard questions after questions at him, Kong could hardly make sense of any of it.
All he managed to do was drag himself to sit with his back to the nearest wall while flinching a little when the man seemed to be on the verge of harming him but the man didn't even dare to raise a hand and just shouted ear wrenching questions, Kong noticed the man wasn't much older than a few years than him.
"You're a spy! Aren't you?"
"I... I... I want to talk to Arthit." Kong hadn't realised his voice was so hoarse until he had spoken up.
All he knew was he was tired and this man was giving him a headache.
"I'm still a better option, kid, speak now or I won't be able to save you." The man said while untying his legs but letting the chains bing his wrists and arms.
"Why would you even try to save me?" Kong shrugged his shoulders despite the pain stinging in his arms from all the chains.
"Just shut the hell up and speak the truth!" The man hissed.
"I'll only talk to Arthit." Kong said bluntly.
"You do know that you're in no position to be stubborn right?"
"I'll only talk to Arthit!" Kong tried to raise his voice this time.
"He'll kill you even before you can open your mouth!" The man tried to shake hin again, making Kong realise just how drugged he felt, unable to grasp his own surroundings for a few seconds, hardly noticing that someone else had just walked in.
"Why did you need to drug me?" Kong spoke up anyway, trying to hold his head which was pounding harder than ever.
It was Mr Rojnapat, eyeing Kong with a certain distaste in his eyes while the man had moved away from Kong and bowed at the older man.
"What has he spoken of, Tanawat?" He asked and the man, Tanawat just shook his head,
"Looks like a piece of waste to be honest."
Mr Rojnapat sighed settling on the chair Tanawat was previously occupying infront of Kong and stared at him.
"Do you know no one enters into the factory's compounds other than the men under Rojnapat Empire? How did you get through it?"
Kong managed to lift his dull eyes to look at the older man, probably in his fifties, wearing a suit, his eyes seemingly familiar and yet Kong had never met this man before.
"Who are you?" Kong asked.
Mr Rojnapat had bigger issues to deal with, and suddenly having to face this kid just because this teenager had managed to get through the security of a very delicate place of the Empire meant that there was either some really incompetent men appointed around the factory or this kid had some connections.
