“I don’t like this.” Arthit said while staring out at the new luxury car outside his window.

“But you had asked me just last week?”

“I did…” Arthit said while running his hand over the hood of the new car, his dad looking at him, hoping to somehow please his son with atleast something despite knowing that Arthit was never happy with anything ever.

“But I did a week ago, now I don’t want this.” Arthit said.

His father sighed before looking at his son briefly in annoyance and hopelessness.

“Atleast use it around for a day or two.” He more or less requested.

“Sure.” Arthit said with a shrug, disinterestedness reflecting everywhere.

“Anyway, I’ve set up this meeting, you need to go for it…”

“Who’s the weasel now?” Arthit asked while leaning inside the car to check out the interior, nothing really catching his eye, the usual, boring.

“Who do you think?” He heard his father ask while he moved away and leaned against the side of the car look at him.

“My bet is on Chanchai, that guy is doing nothing but passing on losses in the business, he’s definitely pocketing the profits for himself.” Arthit said.

His dad smiled, “You’re right, son, actually he’s been doing more than pocketing the profits, he is trying to weasel out his way of our empire.”

Arthit smirked, “Maybe we should help him a little.”

His dad shrugged, “I leave this on you, I have other matters to see into... Just go for the meeting tomorrow and see into it.”

He nodded while moving away from the car and looked at his dad.

“I was going to meet up with Knot for a while, some assignment to complete…” He said.

“Why not invite him over?” Dad asked.

“Yeah, probably will bring him here.” Arthit was pretty much lying and he knew his dad could sense it but he didn’t speak about it anyway, he wasn’t going to meet his friend, he was just trying to get some fresh air out of this place.

“Okay, take a chauffeur, don’t go all by yourself.”

“Got it.” Arthit knew it he couldn’t go somewhere without a chauffeur, as if bringing in a little security for him, atleast his dad didn’t pester him on keeping a bodyguard around anymore.

“And come back soon, your mother wants us to have dinner together.”

Arthit nodded, hardly paying attention while he slipped at the backseat and the chauffeur arrived within a second.

“Arthit.”

He looked up to find his dad looking at him rather gravely from the car’s window.

“Don’t let anyone pull you down…. Ever.”

“I know.” Arthit said with a slight smile before the car pulled away from the place altogether.

He sighed while leaning back to the seat, the smell of the car was nothing new, boring, nothing catching his attention at all.

“What’s your name?” Arthit turned his attention to the chauffeur instead.

The chauffeur glanced at him through the rear view mirror, a little nervous as he spoke up, “I’m Dong, sir.”

Arthit almost smirked to his name, “Dong?”

“Yes sir.”

Arthit was distracted when he felt his phone buzz, his smirk vanishing as he read the caller ID, he picked up the call soon enough.

“What did you find?” Arthit asked.

“Nothing much, boss…. He doesn’t has a family, grew up in an orphanage, I found details on his parents too, they died in a car accident, but the grandfather is still alive, but I don’t think for long after being such an alcoholic, it’s better that the kid doesn’t knows about him, anyway back to the kid, he is a scholarship holder, but I did also find that he does a lot of part time jobs.”
