Kirati had taken over the Chanchai empire not a long time back, nobody even knew that Chanchai had a son, but eventually Kirati did take over, only because Chanchai’s advisor, Nattapol had supported the man.

Kirati had been born and brought up in a brothel, a prostitute's son and Kong got some informant inside Kirati's empire, and eventually got way more information.

Chanchai had known about this son of his and he had kept him hidden in the brothel, because he didn’t want the only heir of his empire out in the midst of the mess, and partially because Kirati’s mother never wanted her son into the mafia mess.

Well, now, the woman was living lavishly in a mansion while her son who was ruling ever so ruthlessly.

It wasn’t going to last, Kong was determined on that, there was just this blind impulse in Kong to get Arthit out of this, to have them all protected because he didn’t want anyone of his loved ones harmed in any way if Arthit, by any means is harmed.

Maybe it was the desperation, or maybe it was the fear but Kong had fallen ill, though he covered it up well perfectly but when he was alone, he was head buried in the toilet and throwing up whatever he had eaten, his skin felt like something was crawling all over him, his head was always in a state of pain and so was his whole body, Kong had to strain himself to work, to use his brains.

It was happening for a week now, gradually it’s intensity increasing day by day….

Even his friends had started to notice how his hands shook, he couldn’t tell them that he was having another one of those horrible abdominal cramps.

He was craving nothing but cigarettes and some alcohol, the lack of it making him more irritated than ever.

He had tried to get his hands over some cigarette but it seemed like Chiya had made sure no man in the whole property doesn’t even pass him one smoke.

Kong hardly got to meet Chiya all this time, with the work load and his whole health deteriorating day by day, he hardly had the time for anything else and surprisingly enough Chiya had made no effort to contact him either anyway.

Gradually, Kong did realise what was happening to him…. He was going through the alcohol and cigarettes withdrawal.

And he wanted nothing else but some cigarette and any drink to let him out of his misery.

He hadn’t realised it until his craving for smoke was getting higher than he could control, his brain couldn’t focus on the files, sheets and various pen drives around the bed, he just abandoned all of it with the buzzing head as he stumbled his way out of the room and soon out of the compound.

He was slamming his hands as hard as he could at the door,

“Kong?” Chiya was startled as Kong stumbled inside while she moved away, letting him in.

“I want to smoke, Chiya please! Do something!” Kong was sweating, he hadn’t realised how he wasn’t in his right mind, the way he was shivering as if he could feel like he was drenched in freezing water, he was on his knees, almost begging her.

“I beg of you, Chiya…. This is killing me! Please! Please! I can’t take this!” Kong begged with his joined hands while she was frozen for a moment, her eyes widening before she knelt beside, wrapping her arms around him.

Kong wanted to tell her that he was filthy, he was drenched in sweat and he had a filthy mind, he was plotting a man's murder, but he knew Chiya would never care, never at all.

“I know Kong…. I've seen my dad… just- just don’t lose hope…. You’re gonna be fine… your addiction wasn’t for as long as my father’s so you’ll get over it, just don’t-”
