Soon enough, Zeldris heard voices and hid behind a rock, hoping the owner of the powerful nearby energy and whoever was with them would leave quickly. He heard splashing off to his left, so he made his way around the right side of the rock, wanting to slip away unseen.
When he finally got into waist-deep water, he was stopped by someone putting his own sword at his throat. Zeldris inhaled sharply in annoyance. On the shore, one of the Seven Deadly Sins held his clothes, grinning. A tall man with blueish hair. Zeldris didn’t need to turn around to know who had stolen his sword.
“Meliodas.”
“Hey little bro.”
“Let go of me.”
“I just want to ask you some questions.”
“Tell your… friend to give me back my clothes.”
“He’ll give them back. After we talk.”
“What do you want you insufferable--”
“Ah, ah, ah, be nice,” the sword dug into Zeldris’ throat, “we’re looking for someone.”
The man onshore snorted a laugh.
“Hey, Captain, look at this.”
The man held up the jug.
“What is it?” Meliodas asked.
“Looks like the prince of darkness has a soft side.”
“If you’re just here to mock me--” Zeldris started.
“No. We’re looking for a red alien girl. Have you seen anyone like that?” Meliodas interrupted.
“Shutar --another red alien-- found her. She’s going home. Let me go.”
“Stop whining.”
“I don’t whine.”
“You’re whining right now.”
Zeldris grabbed Meliodas’ arm and flipped him. His back hit the water with a smack. Zeldris grabbed his sword and marched up onto the shore. He sliced the head off of the tall man and retrieved the jug and his clothes. He dressed quickly and watched as the man reattached his own head.
“If you want a fight, meet me on the field of battle you cowards” said Zeldris.
Zeldris jumped, careful to keep the jug from being broken.
It seemed like he’d be leaving Estarossa with his work cut out for him.
He felt a powerful presence behind him. It seemed like Meliodas had decided to follow.
As Zeldris neared the mountain, the twins stood on some kind of vehicle to intercept the pair of demons.
