"Gonna be honest, I'm a bit scared of going back in there." Susie said closing the car door.
"Don't worry toots, if Joey wants to get to you, he'll have to go through me!"
She smiled at Wally, and giggled. "I doubt you could even kill a fly!"
"Oh yeah!" he said, swatting a fly that flew by. When he missed, he laughed nervously and and scratched the back of his head.
"Let's get this over with." Sammy sighed as he opened y/n's door.
"I'm a little scared to be here too.. Just promise me you'll be careful and keep your guard up."
"I can say the same to you, my little sheep."
She placed her head on his shoulder to reassure him.
"It'll be fine."
He kissed the top of her head and grabbed her hand as they walked into the studio. No one really paid them any mind as they all checked in, except for Bertrum, who had his eyes on y/n. "It seems a little strange how all four of them arrived at the same time.. Sure it may just be a coincidence, but there's a possibility that Susie told the others.."
He headed down to Joey's office to tell him Susie had arrived.
Sammy and y/n headed to the music room to continue writing the songs Joey requested.
"Hey, do you guys need help? I really don't wanna be in the lounge by myself."
"Oo I could help too!"
Y/n looked at Sammy and smiled. He sighed and muttered, "Fine.. But what type of instruments can you play?"
Susie picked up a violin. "I can also play the base fiddle."
"I can play this!" Wally held a banjo above his head, seeming very proud about his instrument skill.
"Whatever. Just don't cause me any distractions, or else."
Sammy sat in one of the wooden chairs and Susie sat beside him. Wally ran over to y/n, who was sitting on the piano stool, and sat down beside her.
"Hey do ya think we could do a duet?"
"Hmm.. It could help Sammy write a song, but it could also make him lose his concentration."
"Well it's worth a try!"
One thing y/n loved about Wally was his never ending enthusiasm. Sure he could be a bit of a ditz, but he was one of her best friends.
She handed him some sheet music. "Look through these and get some ideas and play some accompaniment."
"Seems easy enough."
"Yeah but don't forget we have to do this for about ten songs if we want to have this finished by the end of this week."
His jaw dropped. "Now hold up a second! I didn't agree to all of this!"
"Well if you don't I'll tell Susie you were the one who ate her cake."
"Wait what! Okay, okay you win toots. Just don't tell her I did that or she'll send me to hell in a hand basket."
Y/n giggled at his reference to the Bendy episode.

Sammy rested his head on his hand and sighed. "Do you think she likes him more than me?"
"Of course not. Have you not seen the way she looks at you? That girl is head over heels for you." Susie said with a sigh.
"I don't know.. She seems to be having more fun with him."
"Who doesn't laugh at Wally. He's a little goof who freaking hides in a closet when he wants to slack off work."
Sammy nodded but still didn't feel convinced.
"Ya know, I actually had a crush on you." He looked over at her a bit surprised. "I still do.. But it doesn't matter. You and y/n are just so perfect together. I wish it could have been me you chose more than anything, but like I said, I'm just happy to see you and y/n happy. You two care about each other so much, and you're both terrified of losing the other. You both also have insecurities that make you think the other will find someone better and leave, which I highly doubt will happen."
Sammy sat there still shocked and speechless.
"Does y/n really think that she's not good enough for me?"
"You have no idea. I can't even tell who complains more about it. You both are so freaking paranoid."

"So what do ya think about this?" Wally said playing a quick and joyful tune on the banjo. Y/n nodded and matched the rhythm on the piano. Within a minute they had an almost full song written.
"This is one of the best songs I've written! I can't wait to show Sammy! Believe it or not, but you're actually quiet useful." She quickly wrote down the notes and turned in Sammy's direction, only to see him in a deep conversation with Susie.
"You don't by any chance think he likes her?"
"Nah. He seems to be deeply in love with you. I mean I know she had a crush on him, but she's told me before that she wouldn't take him from you."
"Yeah but she's so much prettier than me."
"And? Sammy loves you not her. Just go show him the new music we wrote. I'm sure you'll feel better once ya talk to him."
"What if he doesn't like it?"
"Just go!" he said shoving her off the seat.
"Hey Sammy.. We uh, wrote this.."
"Hm? Oh thanks." He grabbed the music from her hand and placed it on the chair beside him. "Y/n your a miracle worker, I mean how did you write a song so fast?"
"I dunno.."
He stood up and wrapped his arms around her. "You okay my little sheep?" he whispered.
She shrugged. He thought back to what Susie said about y/n being as insecure as him.
"Well I'd hope that your not upset, because that would mean I'd have to kiss you in front of Wally and Susie."
"Wait, why?"
He smiled at her. "Why not?"
He then put his arm around her waist, and knocking her over so the only thing that kept her from falling was his grip around her. He then leaned over and kissed her. It was a long and passionate kiss.
Susie rushed out of the room and returned with one of the old stop motion cameras from the storage room. Y/n jumped at the sudden flash from the camera, but Sammy kept going until he gasped for air. Y/n gazed up at him, still laid back on his arm. He smiled at her, and she blushed.
"Wally we have to get this film developed tonight!"
"Heck yeah!"
They ran up to each other and had a quick achievement hug.
"I'll make three copies! One for your wallet, Sammy. One for a frame in your house, and one for my memory book. Maybe I should make another copy for your office. You can never have to many of an amazing picture!"
Wally nodded and y/n blushed harder.
"Susieee! Why did you have to take that picture?"
"My poor little sis." She said stealing her from Sammy. "You get flustered too easily."
"What! No I don't!"
While Susie was teasing y/n, Sammy walked over and picked up the sheet music she wrote.
"Wow, y/n this is amazing!"
"Hm?" She looked up at him holding the music.
"Well Wally came up with it, I just wrote it down."
"Either way it's amazing! Everyone grab an instrument I wanna hear what this sounds like."
They all ran to their instruments and Sammy stood ready to conduct them.
Wally and y/n read off the sheet music they had and Susie just followed their lead.
"No, the violin is too high pitched.. Susie you said you can play the base fiddle right?"
She nodded.
"Okay, hurry and get over there!"
She did as he asked and played the pitches he signed.
"Hold it." He took some blank sheet music and jotted down some things.
"Here. This is the base part, so try to keep up."
Susie nodded and they started over. The upbeat song was in a full swing, and it was absolute perfection to Sammy's ears.
They were all actually having fun playing the simple song. No one noticed Bertrum standing in the doorway, watching the small ensemble.
Sammy could sense that there was someone there, but like any professional he carried on.
"Excuse me Mister Lawrence,"
Sammy cringed at the sudden interruption.
"Didn't anyone ever tell you not to intrude on a music session? Have you no manners?"
"Well it's not like you were recording."
"Yes, but still. Do you want these songs done by the end of the week or not? I have a plan to finish at least five by today, so can you please not bother me."
He rolled his eyes at the angry Sammy.
"Well, Sammy, I do say it was an amazing song, but your makeshift band is needed elsewhere."
"What!?"
"Joey would like to talk to Susie, Thomas needs Wally's help fixing a burst pipe, and I would like to talk with the lovely y/n."
"Excuse me? Sure Joey maybe the boss so I can't tell him he can't see Susie, and I can understand Tom needing Wally, but you are not taking y/n. She is one of my musicians and I'm the only boss of them. Not even Joey has control over them, especially her."
Bertrum scowled at Sammy, trying to think of an excuse, but there was none to be found.
"Since you won't let me see her in private, I will just have to give her these in front of everyone."
He tried to walk up to y/n but Sammy blocked his path. Wally and Susie gathered at his sides and growled at Bertrum.
"How about you let y/n decide for herself!"
She walked up to Sammy and smiled innocently.
"It's okay.. I can handle this."
Susie grabbed her shoulder. "You sure about that?"
She nodded and walked past the wall of her friends.
"Ah, what a sight for sore eyes." He pulled a bouquet of flowers out from behind him and went to kiss her hand.
Y/n grabbed the flowers, threw them on the ground, and kicked Bertrum as hard as she could in the balls.
"Sorry, but I'm already taken, and didn't we already establish the fact that I don't like you."
Sammy couldn't help but grin and mutter under his breath, "That's my girl."
Susie wrapped her arm around y/n.
"Way to go girlfriend!"
Wally held out his hand for a high five, which she of course didn't leave him hanging.
"I do believe my little sheep has spoken. Now if you don't mind we have work to do."
Bertrum, who was lying on the floor, looked up at y/n with a trace of betrayal in his eyes, and then changed his glare to Sammy with a snarl.
"Why do you call her your little sheep? It's not like she'd ever love you!"
"Well I see all of my orchestra members as my sheep, and I am their shepard. It's my job to tend to their wellbeing and to make sure they reach their potential. Y/n is my little sheep who I love more than anything else in the world. She is my personal.. pet I guess you could say. I value her way more than anyone else. She's mine and mine alone. I feel like I need to protect her from the world and its evils since she's so little and vulnerable."
"That, vulnerable? You really don't know a strong woman when you see one."
"Susie is a very strong woman."
She blushed at his compliment.
"Mainly just headstrong, but if I was someone other than me I wouldn't piss her off."
"Hey! Don't try me ass shit!"
Sammy rolled his eyes and then wrapped his arm around y/n.
"Now this is a tiny sheep who can't protect herself very well and needs me by her side in order to do what she just do to you, isn't that right my little sheep."
Y/n lifted her head towards Sammy. "Baaa."
Everyone stopped and looked at her, Sammy's face started to turn bright red.
Susie and Wally bust out laughing, and Susie feel onto the floor.
"Sammy you should see your face!" Wally teased.
"wow.." he muttered quietly. "Y/n, that was adorable as.. Well I guess there is nothing more adorable than that." She smiled with pride at the tomato red Sammy.
"Y/n do it again!" Susie chanted.
"Baaa! I'm Sammy's little sheep!"
They started laughing again, Susie was slapping the floor and Wally fell onto his back laughing.
Sammy's face got even brighter and he looked away with an almost pouting face.
"Please, never do that again, y/n.."
"BAA!"
"Pfft-BWAHHAA!" Susie laughed.
Y/n placed her head on Sammy's shoulder, his gaze still avoiding hers. He covered his face with his hands to hide his bright red blush.
"Aww what's wrong? I'm a sheep right?"
He grabbed the back of her head and pulled her ear towards him.
"You fucking idiot.. Your starting to turn me on.."
She jumped back, her face now turning pink.
"S-sorry.."
They stood a foot apart facing away from each other.
Everyone had seemed to forget Bertrum was lying on the floor, and he looked at Sammy and y/n in astonishment.
"How could she love him more than me? Little sheep? What kind of nickname is that? I would be embarrassed by that yet she embraced it! And that pink face.. What did he say to make her blush so much?"
Sammy noticed Bertrum eyeing y/n and decided to do the thing he did before.
"Hey Susie, don't you think we should reenact that 'perfect picture' that you took earlier?"
"Hell yeah!"
Wally sat up ready to watch that magical moment again. Him and Susie jumped up and ran to Bertrum's side so they could get a good view.
Sammy walked up to y/n wrapping his arm around her waist again, and placed his other hand on her cheek as he leaned her over and kissed her. This time she was expecting it so she wrapped her arms around his neck, and kissed back. It was even more passionate than the last one, and slightly lustful. Y/n closed her eyes, savoring the moment, but Sammy opened one eye to glare at Bertrum, who was clearly devastated by his action and how much y/n enjoyed it.
Bertrum's expression brought joy to Sammy, causing him to smirk a little, before closing his eye and returning all his attention to y/n. Bertrum stood up and dusted himself off, and left the room almost in tears from his pride being shattered. Wally and Susie were staring in awe at them, and they didn't notice the little crowd in the projectionist booth that Norman had gathered, who were all awwing too. Of course Lacie had found another camera and took multiple pictures. Sammy and y/n were so focused on each other they didn't even notice the flash or the small cheer that happened when they finally broke away from the kiss.
