Y/n and Wally made an agreement to meet every day at seven, and talk about what they've discovered.
"I'm mainly bothered by how he's gotten so pale.."
"That is strange, but if he's goin' off the deep end and killing people, I'd definitely watch my back."
"I trust Sammy with my life. There is no possible way I'd ever fear him, or even slightly hate him just because he killed a person or two."
Wally shrugged and stared at the ground. "I miss her so much.. I wish it was me who died instead.. What does Joey even need her for? If he can create that creature, than why does he need her for that blasted machine?"
"I wish I knew.. Wait! What if he needs souls to make more creatures? The first one came out more like a demon than a character, so maybe they need a specific form to take on, which would make sense why he got rid of Susie!"
"Where are you going with this?"
"What if he fired her to make her want the part so bad, she'd do anything to get it back."
"It sounds like a very 'Joey' thing to do, but also very far fetched."
"True, but it's possible."
Wally pulled his sleeve back to look at his watch. "It's almost seven thirty, you should start heading back."
"Oh right.. Ya know the studio is lonely without you and Susie. It's just quiet.. Well, more like I'm quiet.."
"What about Sammy and Ally?"
"Allison acts like she wants nothing to do with anyone anymore. Sammy's about the same way, but with an actual reason."
"I can walk ya back, if ya'd like. What kind of gentlemen would I be if I didn't at least do that?"
Y/n giggled at him, and they held hands as they walked to the studio.

The pair had parted ways, and y/n was greeted by none other than Sammy, who was standing outside, smoking a cigar.
"Where have you been?"
"I went for a walk.."
"Don't scare me like that!"
"What-I mean, you were just so focused I didn't want to bother you."
He approached her and wrapped his arms tightly around her. "I thought you had done something stupid like killed yourself.."
"Why would you think that?"
"I thought you had actually overheard the conversation me and one of the doctors had, and blamed yourself."
"Wait, what did the doctor say?"
"It doesn't matter.." Sammy whispered, his head resting on hers.
"If it didn't matter, then why did you think I jumped off a bridge or somethin'?"
"I'm just tired and overthinking things again."
"Sammy.. I'm not an idiot."
"Come on, lets get heading home. It's starting to get cold out here." He grabbed her hand and began to pull her up the road. Y/n was starting to worry about the whole doctor thing he had mentioned, but mainly just pushed it aside.
When they arrived home, y/n was starving. She thought of it as just a side affect of her walking so far today. She cooked a simple little meal her mother had taught her, but still felt incredibly hungry afterwards.
"Gosh, I'm still really freaking hungry."
"You just ate over half of that meatloaf, little sheep. No way are you still hungry."
She let out a long sigh, and her stomach growled after.

Y/n decided to shower while Sammy plucked keys carelessly on the piano.
"What did he mean by the whole doctor thing earlier.. Am I gonna die or something?"
She wasn't scared of dying herself, but if she lost Sammy after losing Susie.. That would be hell for y/n. She would kill herself at that point, but then again, Wally would have no one left. If only things could be the way they were just a few months ago..
Sammy and her were a happy couple, Wally was helplessly always caught up in the drama between Susie and Allison, Henry would still be there to give y/n advice, and Bertrum wasn't even someone she knew existed.
Now Susie was missing and possibly dead, Allison had become extremely depressed, Wally and Henry quit, and Sammy was always busy either working or overthinking. At least Bertrum was outta the picture, but without his money, Joey would send the studio into bankruptcy.Everyone knew it, but who could do anything about it?
Y/n lingered in her thoughts, until a sharp pain pulled her back into reality, causing her to fall and lay in the bottom of the tub. The pain felt way too familiar, just like a really bad stomach cramp. Then it hit her. She looked at the bottom of the tub and watched as blood flowed beneath her, sending her mind into a panic.

Sammy hopelessly plinked the keys, feeling annoyed at his writers block.
"Sammy!"
He quickly ran into the bathroom and saw his little sheep curled up in the bottom of the tub.
"What did that doctor tell you?!"
"Well.."
"I need to know right now."
"When you fell on that metal, it missed your gut and intestines by about an inch, and.."
"God dammit Sammy!"
"It hit right through our kid, and they said the only thing that could be done was to stop the bleeding and get you stitches. If you still want to know more, then here's a fun little fact for ya, you can't have kids anymore."
Y/n looked him in the eyes and saw tears starting to roll down his face. She lowered her head onto her knees and Sammy left the room.
"I wish they said that I was gonna die.. Anything might have been better than that.."
Her breath became shaky, and her mind was spinning.
"He was so happy when I told him.. and now.."
Y/n wanted to blame Bertrum for throwing her over the railing, but deep inside she knew she should have listened to Sammy and been more careful.
