Hiccup went upstairs and opened the door. He saw Astrid still asleep and walk quietly. He took his book and sit on the corner of the bed.
He started to think of a solution about calming that wild Monstrous Nightmare. He is very curious but instead of thinking he drew Astrid.
For a minute or two, Astrid starts to move from her place and opened her eyes.
Hiccup saw her awake and stopped drawing.
"Evening milady.. How's your sleep?" Astrid looked up at him and kept silent. She look down and move the blanket then crawled next to Hiccup.
She laid her head on his shoulder and look at his drawing. Hiccup smiled. "Do you like it?" She smiled and nodded. "Is this what you've been doing?" She yawned and leaned on him.
"Nah.. I was just bored." Hiccup put his book on the bedside table and looked at her. She was still sleepy and tired. He wrapped his arms on her and started to kiss her head.
Astrid look up to him and smiled. His eyes is incredibly wonderful. But then, she remembered that she needed to feed Stormfly.
"Oh Thor! Stormfly must be starving.." She sat up straight and fixed her braided hair. "Naw.. You're destroying the moment.." Hiccup sighed and chuckled. "Okay come on.. Let's go." They both rushed to Astrid's house.
•• Astrid's house ••
"Hey girl! Did you miss me? Huh? Did you? Who's my girl? Who's my girl?" Astrid rub Stormfly's head and it growled happily.
"Boy, you must be starving.." She dragged the basket of fish and gave it to her dragon. Stormfly roared and ate the fishes fast.
Astrid sighed and sat beside Hiccup watching her dragon eat. Hiccup put his arm around her and smiled.
"Have you feed Toothless?" She asked confusedly. Hiccup laughed. "Yeah.. I fed him this morning. I wondered where did he go." He looked around and suddenly Toothless pounced on him from the back.
"Toothless! Aww.. Hey! Where've you been bud? I've been looking for you." Toothless glared at him.
"Hey.. Don't give me that look!" Toothless roared and shook his head. Astrid watched and giggled. Still sitting down, she pat Stormfly and saw Hiccup whispered to Toothless.
Toothless nodded in agreement. "What are you talking about?" She asked curiously. "Oh, nothing.. Just a little appointment. Me and him.." Hiccup nodded and Astrid shook her head. Then, he winked at Toothless.
"Uhm, Astrid.. Wanna have a night walk? Just you and me."
Astrid thought for awhile. "Eh.. Sure. But you'll have to stay for dinner at my house now.." She grinned and Hiccup nodded.
•• After dinner ••
They walked to Dragonscale Cliff. Together. Hiccup grabbed her hand and hold it. He exhaled. "What a warm night don't you think?"
"Hmm. Yeah.." Astrid nodded and smiled. They walk further and Hiccup pushed her shoulder with his.
"Hey! Why would you do that?" She gave him a pout. "Aww.. You want an apology? Is that why you're pouting? Big baby boo?" He chuckled.
"I thought Toothless is your baby boo.." She grinned and Hiccup shook his head. "Sit here." He said.
Astrid sat down beside him. "Look up." He pointed to the sky filled with beautiful, shiny, sparkling stars.
"Wow.. It's amazing." Astrid looked up and was amazed by them. "You know.. They said if you wished upon a star, your wish might come true." He explained and start to close his eyes. Astrid looked at him and close her eyes.
For the next moment, they open their eyes and look at each other. Then turned away. Hiccup looked at her and started to hold her hand.
"Astrid, I was wondering if you would-" She turned to him and smiled. "-." But then he stops and went on speechless.
"What?" Astrid asked and look up as he stood up. "I don't know." He pulled her up and started to poke her belly. Then, he ran away laughing. "Hey! Come back you!" Astrid chased him through the woods and found nothing.
"Hiccup? Hello? Hiccup, where are you?" She didn't notice that he was hiding behind a tree near her.
"Got you!" Hiccup put his arms around her and laughed. Astrid was startled and started to laugh.
But they tripped on a little rock in front of them and start tumbling down the cliff. Astrid land on the top of Hiccup's body and laughed. Once they stop laughing, Astrid kissed him and gave him a big hug. Then let go after a few seconds. "Now.. What is that thing you wanna tell me again?"
"There's a Snoggletog dance tomorrow and I was wondering if you would wanna-" "Come with you? Yeah.. Of course. Why not?" She cut off his speech and smiled.
Hiccup chuckled and hugged her once more. "Come on.. Let's go get some rest." He let her go, stood up and lift her up. They dusted themselves off and walked home.
