tears are the only way to find out if you found your soulmate. this world we live in was a bit odd, instead of having tattoos that each have no meaning whatsoever, we have tears, you know you found your soulmate once you've shed a tear while looking straight at the persons eyes, causing them to shed a tear as well.

y/n l/n craved a soulmate. she had no one in her life and all she wanted was somebody. finn wolfhard also desired a soulmate. he felt extremely lonely & pathetic, how in the world did everyone have a soulmate but him?

y/n admired the song that was playing on her phone, she walked down the hall, not disturbing a soul.

as y/n was enjoying her music she felt someone's arm on her shoulder. she looked up and saw her best friend, sadie.

"hey sades." y/n smiled at the girl, as she removed her headphones.

"hey y/n." sadie grinned at the girl. "did you know that millie and noah were like a thing?"

"like 'woah lets make out' or they cried for each other?"

"real tears."

"no shit." y/n sighed. "i think i'm going insane, sadie. like i'm getting really desperate."

"tell me about it, but hey at least we've got each other."

"yeah you're right." y/n smiled holding on to sadie's hand.

as the two walked down the hallway towards their class, y/n noticed a boy. in which she's never seen before, he had shiny black curls and big brown eyes. he was very attractive.

"wait, who is that?" y/n whispered to her friend.

sadie looked at the boy who y/n seemed to notice. "oh, he's cute. but i don't think i've ever seen him before."

y/n hummed in response, the two continued to walk down the hall, the boy was getting closer and closer to the girls, and y/n couldn't keep her eyes off of him.

"you're drooling." sadie laughed.

"haha." y/n began to panic, the boy was getting closer to them. she looked away for a second but then began to look at him again, as the two walked closer and closer to each other y/n felt like her breath was being taken away.

then it happened, they both passed each other, both looking at each other's eyes, single tears coming from both their eyes. they both then looked away, each walking to their classes.

"no way." y/n turned to sadie.

"what, what happened?" sadie gasped. "what the hell?"

y/n grinned. "real fucking tears."

"oh my god, who was it?"

"the guy, the cute one."

"what are you doing? go get him!"

"sadie, no...i want to know who he is first. can you help me?"

"what, just go talk to him!" sadie groaned.

"sadie!" y/n sighed. "please just help me find him later."

"fine, just because i know that you're a pussy." sadie rolled her eyes.
