don't you love the feeling when you can't actually feel anything? where you bury your problems and dreams with drugs, and hope that it'll end soon? where at some point you feel happy?
well y/n l/n loves it! she loves what drugs do to her. how the second her mouth touches a pill it excites her body and allows her to be happy for about a day. how she can finally wipe away her tears.
y/n wasn't happy in her life, i mean sure she had a loving family who loved her but she just couldn't except that love. she didn't think she could ever except love.
that was until she met boris pavlikovsky. well she had known who he was in the beginning of high school but she never seemed to care of who he was. nor did she care about anything really.
boris on the other hand admired y/n, he loved her. and treasured her. only he wished that she would care enough to love him back.
y/n walked out of school and shoved her hands into her pockets. the pill that she had taken first period had almost worn off and it upset her.
"hey, printsessa! wait up!" a voice yelled after her.
but y/n ignored it, not thinking much of it. until she felt a body next to her. she faced the figure. "yes?"
"what are you on, now?" boris asked.
"you mean almost on? it's wearing off." y/n scrunched up her face and looked back down. "but to answer your question...does it matter? they all do the same thing."
"which is?"
"keep you happy...more like numb, but you know numb makes you happy..."
boris chuckled. "yeah sure."
y/n kept walking besides boris. "don't you ride the bus?"
"yeah but i'll join you today."
y/n hummed in response, as she put her hood on. and kicked a pebble out of her way.
"how do you do it?" boris questioned.
"do what?"
"hide. how do you hide so well from others of who you are?"
"you do it all the time mr. pavlikovsky." y/n smiled.
"yes but you do it better."
"step one...practice. step two...be pathetic in life. step three...avoid life."
