y/n l/n was lost. she felt as if she were to be the only one in the world. but she just felt, it wasn't actually true. y/n had her mother and sister, who adored her uncontrollably.

y/n was a drug addict, or at least used to be. she used drugs to feel numb, to feel something. she was put in rehab for her addiction, yes it was that bad. today she was two weeks sober, which was actually something.

the only reason as to why y/n was sober was because of finn wolfhard. finn was the new kid in her shitty town, and she immediately fell in love with him the minute she laid her eyes on him.

and finn brought y/n euphoria. he was the real reason as to why y/n wanted to be sober, because she loved him. and finn was starting to love her back. y/n was just too scared to say something, she didn't want to get rejected.

he just started to pay attention to her, he used to be too stuck up with some girl he met through an app. but was disappointed when finding out that the girl he was talking to was actually iris apatow, a girl who was filled with so much hate, especially towards finn.

y/n and finn laid on y/n's bed, finn had sneaked up into her bedroom window after having a bad day. finn laid next to her, and stared at her, she looked over at him as well. i guess for finn, y/n's lips seemed so pleasant, because after gleaming over at her, he put his hands on her cheeks and kissed her.

y/n was confused, the first time y/n kissed him, was a complete horror story, and filled the friendship with embarrassment. y/n then kissed him back, after some time, finn wrapped y/n in his arms.

finn grabbed onto her like his life depended on it.  y/n played with his hair, and gleamed at him. god, was she in love.

the two ended up falling asleep into each other's arms. the next day, y/n sat with her mother and sister, eating breakfast.

"did finn sleep over last night?" y/n's mother asked y/n who slightly smiled.

"yeah," y/n blushed just by the thought of him.

"y/n, you know the rules. no boys."

y/n's smile disappeared. "yeah, i'm sorry mom. we didn't do anything though, you don't have to worry."

"i hope not." y/n's mother took a sip of her coffee. "you like him don't you? are you guys dating?"

"yeah, very much." y/n giggled. "and yes, i think."

"do you love him?" y/n's sister teasingly smirked at y/n.

a few days had passed by, y/n rod around town in her bicycle, earbuds in her ears. she looked up and saw finn's house. y/n got off her bike and threw it on the ground. she knocked on the door, the door opened revealing finn's dad.

"hello mr.wolfhard, how have you been?" y/n smiled.

"i'm alright, how about you?" finn's dad asked.

"i'm okay, is finn around?"

"yup, he's upstairs."

"thanks." y/n spoke as she walked up stairs to finn's room.

y/n knocked on the door and opened it once she heard finn's voice. y/n saw finn laying on his bed, y/n smiled and walked towards him.

"hey finn." she simply said, laying down besides him.

"hey y/n." finn spoke.

y/n moved closer to him, and tried to give him a kiss but finn turned away, causing y/n's smile to fade away.

y/n knew something was wrong but she didn't want to say anything, thinking it would cause something. y/n awkwardly looked up at the ceiling, why was he acting this way?

"y/n." finn looked over at her.

"yeah?" she faced him.

"y/n, i don't love you."

y/n gulped, and looked back at the ceiling. did he really not love her? did he ever? y/n stayed silent. her eyes then began to get glossy, why was she so hurt by this? she knew this would eventually happen.

"y/n," finn sat up, waiting for a response.

y/n also sat up, but she said nothing and ran away. she ignored finn's father who called after her. y/n grabbed her bike, and began to peddle as fast as she could.

y/n then did something unexpected, she biked to jack grazers house. she desperately knocked on his door.

"jack, hello!" y/n knocked on his door.

jack opened the door and met eyes with y/n who was crying. "y/n? what are you doing here? are you okay?"

"jack, i need to see noah."

"what for?"

"just let me in for fucks sakes! let me fucking see noah!"

"y/n, i can't let you in. you can't see noah."

"jack let me fucking see noah!" y/n yelled.

jack then closed the door, pissing y/n off more. y/n hit on the door as she began to sob some more. "jack! let me see noah! please!"

"no, y/n, no! you can't see noah! you can't get anything, i won't let you!"

"jack! fuck you! look i'm having a bad day! just give me something! i'm having a shitty day! jack, please! you did this to me! you did! fuck you!"

y/n sat down, and sobbed into her arms. why was everyone so pathetic? why is finn so pathetic? why does she love him? why was she letting him control her?

"every time i feel good, i think it'll last forever, but it doesn't!" y/n cried, as jack heard everything, it broke his heart, hearing his best friend say stuff like that.
