mike and y/n decided to go to an empty field, they both immediately fell. meeting with the scratchy grass, y/n looked up at the stars and sighed.
even though mike told her that she shouldn't stress about this whole end of the world thing, she still was. she wasn't sure that she could make him fall in love with her.
mike noticed how tense y/n got so he grabbed her hand, looking at it, and softly feeling her palm. y/n closed her eyes, and for a second, relaxed.
mike then looked over at her and smiled. he thought she was so beautiful, how the hell could he be so cruel to her in the future when right now she's making him feel things he's never felt before?
y/n then opened her eyes again, she grabbed mikes arm and read his watch. ten-sixteen. "fuck!" she then got up. "you up for a field trip?"
mike grinned getting up, as y/n smirked. he followed her. the two then walked to hawkins pool.
"what are we doing here?" mike asked as he watched y/n open the gate with her telekinesis.
"let's go for a swim, yeah?" y/n said as she turned to face mike, who just grinned widely.
"yeah!"
the two then walked towards the edge of the pool, y/n immediately removing her clothes. mike gleamed at her for a second until he then began to do the same.
"okay! on three!" y/n intertwined her hand with mike's. "one...two...three!"
the two then jumped meeting with the cold water. they then swam up, pushing their hair back. y/n smiled widely as she began to splash mike.
mike chuckled as he splashed her back. the two giggled as they played around. y/n then swam underwater, making it half way across the pool.
"impressive." mike said as he swam towards her.
"shut up." y/n giggled. "do you want to see who can hold their breath longer underwater?"
"okay." mike responded. "one..two..three."
y/n then went underwater, crossing her feet and falling to the bottom of the pool. she closed her eyes and concentrated.
mike then went up, gasping for air. he looked down and saw y/n, his mouth widened. he then watched her as she stayed underwater for ten minutes.
