Dazai x Male! Reader

Chapter 10

Time skip: January 5

It was already 5pm and rather dark for the time of the year as (Y/N) heard the doorbell ringing a few times. Within a few seconds the (h/c) male rushed the wooden stairs down with his bag on his back. "I am coming!" As he opened the door, there was his date for the evening. "I am out mom, see you later dad!" "Be home by nine and be careful it's already dark, love you!" The boy's mother screamed across the house before the door fell close.

"You still didn't tell them that you are out with a guy of the Mafia?" Dazai had to chuckle while hearing the sweet words of the others mother. "Well...how could I? They would just flip out." Now was the moment that (Y/N) relaxed a little bit and looked at the other male. "Do you actually always wear this coat?"

(Y/N) had noticed that Dazai didn't wear the same, but very similar cloths today, expect the coat and bandages, hopefully they were fresh.

"I got this coat as I joined, it's like a gift you get from your parents. Plus, it's cold and snowy while I am not freezing." Dazai smiled as he hoped down the small stairs of the front door. "But you, you look fantastic my prince~" "Ah...Thank you..."

(Y/N) looked a bit away as he heard the compliment. He tried his best with choosing his cloths, even though he didn't really care about what he was wearing most of the time, but today was a more special day. (Just imagine what you want to wear at this point ;)

"So, where are we going?" The smaller boy asked as Dazai started to walk away from the house. "I am sure that you will enjoy some food when your nervousness settles down, did you eat anything before leaving?" He smiled at the younger boy as he finally got next to him. "Uhhhh, I didn't...you have a point there." (Y/N) had to chuckle a little bit, trying to lighten his own mood a a bit and getting his nervousness away. It was his first date with the Dazai, of course he was nervous!

"You once said that you like cats, am I right?" Dazai let one of his hands slide out of the pockets of his coat and took (Y/N) before he could even realize what he did. "I did...?" 'What is he doing? Is he holding my hand? Yes, yes he is...I want to go and bury myself!!!' Even thought it was cold and the snow was laying a few inches high, (Y/N) was glad about the fact that he had gloves on so Dazai couldn't feel how hot and sweat his hands were.

"Are you blushing from me holding your hand?" Dazai tilted his head, trying to look at the other males soft red face. "I am not! It's just hot!" That may not be the best excuse, but worth a shot, he realized after speaking. "Awww, you sure are blushing, how cute~" Dazai smiled again which was letting (Y/N) also smile a little bit, trying to see the situation as normal as he could.

"Whatever, yes I like cats. All kind of them, why do you ask?" (Y/N) looked at the others face again as his soft blush faded. "It will only take us about 20 minutes from now on to get to a small but very pretty café, where they have a few cats running around and you can pat them. Is that a good place to go?" Dazai already noticed that the last part was unnecessary to ask. (Y/N)'s eyes got bigger during the sentence and in a cartoon, you would now see big sparkling hearts in them. "Yes! That's perfect!"

(Y/N) pulled the others hand as he got faster. "Hurry up we don't have much time to be there, only around 4 hours! That's not enough." Dazai had to laugh at the enthusiasm the other male had to see cats. "Alright, alright. I will lead you there in no time." Both where now smiling brightly.
