Chapter 33

1st July, Monday

"YES!!" Misaki was screaming as she fell back on the soft matters next to (Y/N) bed. "We survived this year! Woha, we are alive!"

Both males laughed as they sat down on their beds for the night.

"Yes, we did, and with not too bad grades," the (H/C) boy rested on his side as he looked over to his friends. "Next year same thing, same class?"

"Hopefully! I wouldn't survive without one or worse, both of you guys," Kai leaned against the wall. "You can't tell me that you would manage that. No more talking during class..."

"Because that's the best part, talking? But nah, I wouldn't survive without you too," (Y/N) sighed before his door opened, letting his mother enter the room.

"Okay kids. We are out in a few minutes, don't ruin anything and if, hide it good enough. No alcohol, drugs o-" "Yes mom, we will be good as always. Love you"

After the door had closed the three teenagers didn't talk, waiting to hear the front door fall close behind the adults.

"They are out, let's get the party going!" (Y/N) jumped up from his bed, running down into the living room, followed from his friends.

Misaki put on the right movie, Kai took care of the drinks while the (E/C) boy managed the snacks for the night.

"You are fine with Dazai not being here?" his friend asked suddenly, pouring some chocolate milk in a bottle. "We wouldn't mind."

"I said that he shouldn't come. This is our event. Besides he is out with some of his old classmates now that he graduated, don't worry."

But this wasn't the reason why Dazai didn't come. He also didn't tell him not to come. Yet again, he was out for work and after the day of celebrating the older boy's birthday, they didn't see each other since.
The surprising thing was that (Y/N) was alright with it. Dazai promised to call him at least every second day. He held his word and called every day but from a different numbers.

"Well, just saying. He is welcome," Kai pulled the male closer. "And when Misa finally askes Alex out, he will be around too."

Rolling his eyes, the both finished and went to the couch. "Yeah sure, so we will see him in like 10 years," whispering they managed to finish their conversation without the girl noticing.

The three of them made their self's comfortable before pushing the play button, leaning back as the sequel started.

This ritual started as they came into elementary school. On every first Monday of summer break they will meet at somebody's place and make a movie night. Full of snacks, drinks and laugher. Until now it had only been the three of them. Their parents agreeing on being out and partners never existed.
Maybe next year there will be more people. (Y/N) already promised himself that Dazai has to come. Misa had her eyes on one of their new classmates over the year and Kai will also find someone.
But right now, they are happy about it being just them, finishing sixth third bowl of chips, fifth bag of sweets and fourth bottle of drinks as their third movie ended.

"Guys, how late is it?" (Y/N) searched for his phone, finding it almost under the couch behind him. "almost 10 past 4. My mother wrote that they arrived at your place Kai."

"Mine too," Misa looked at her screen a little blended as he unlocked it.

Within a few minutes they turned off the TV, brought the blankets and pillow up to (Y/N) room before again sitting together on the couch with the rest of food on their laps.

"Guys?"

"Yeah?" "Hm?"

"We will be graduating next year. We are old."

"We sure are (nickname) but you are the youngest of us," the three of them had to laugh, eating the last few chips before heading up stairs, falling on their beds.

"And we have to do lots of sports if we want to be able to eat the same amount of food next year too..."

I wanna have a sleepover like that...and food XD
