Throughout the day of work at the Mystery Shack, Mabel continuously checked on Dipper and Wendy to see if anything strange seemed to be occuring between them. However, nothing worth while happened.
The day of work finally came to a close. Wendy was getting ready to head home and Soos was finishing restocking some of the merchandise.
"You still up for movie night tomorrow Dipper?" Wendy asked him.
"Yeah of course!" Dipper said.
"Awesome! See you guys later!" Wendy said with a wave, and then left.
Dipper leaned back against the counter, a small smile on his face. He was getting better and better at not being totally awkward around Wendy. He supposed Mabel had a point about confessing making him feel better; it sort of did help.
"So Dipper..." Mabel began. "Anything new?"
"Mabel I'm not telling you what happened." He said blankly, then turned and walked into the living room.
"Oh come on! Why not?" Mabel complained.
But Dipper had already gone upstairs. With a sigh, Mabel followed him and the twins changed out of their clothes and into pajamas. For Dipper, that was pretty much taking off his sneakers, vest, and hat, while remaining in his shorts, t-shirt, and socks. Mabel on the other hand, had a purple nightgown.
Mabel went back downstairs, however Dipper paused to just flip through the Journal. Picking it up, he knocked one of Mabel's head bands off the night stand and on to the floor. Dipper reached down to pick it up, and in doing so, caught a flash of gold underneath his pillow.
Picking up the pillow, Dipper saw to his surprise the Cipher Medallion, completely restored and in one piece. He picked it up and held it in his hand, unsure of what to make of the situation.
"Dipper you coming? Duck-tective is on!" Mabel yelled from downstairs.
"Coming!" Dipper yelled.
He stuck the Cipher back under his pillow and headed downstairs. What he hadn't seen was a triangle shaped shadow, rising out from under his pillow and going out the open window.
All throughout the episodes of Duck-tective, Dipper was stuck thinking about the medallion. How did it get under his pillow? And how was it all in one piece? He and Mabel both saw it explode! Something weird was happening and it involved that Cipher.
