"You did what!?" Dipper exclaimed.

Dipper was extremely grateful that Mabel had managed to save him, however, tricking Bill wasn't going to end well.

"Well remember that time Stan made us counterfeit money on our 'family bonding day?'" Mabel asked.

"Uhhh don't remind me."

"Well, I had Stan help me create an identical Journal cover and back cover. Then we simply wrote the number one instead of two or three on the cover."

"Mabel that was brilliant!" Dipper said.

"And you know what the best part is? I convinced Stan to do most of it because I knew Bill would be watching me, not anyone else." Mabel said. "And it only cost me working for free in the gift shop four days next week."

"Wow. I can't believe you went through all of that for me." Dipper said.

"You've got to be kidding me! Of course I would do anything I could for you bro-bro!"

Dipper laughed.

"Awkward sibling hug?" He asked.

"Awkward sibling hug."

Mabel walked over to him and the twins embraced one another. Though it had only been a week, it had felt like a year for them both.

"Dude! You're back!" Soos exclaimed, coming into the room.

Dipper smiled between Soos and Mabel. It really did feel good to be back.

Bill was still staring in shock, and now fury, at the Journal in his hands. Mabel had tricked him! This was just a bunch of blank papers in a cover that looked like the Journal! And to think that Bill was actually starting to care about the twins... Not any more. Never again.

The demon's hands became alight with blue fire and the book lit instantly. Bill let it drop to the floor, where flames slowly ate away the covers and gobbled the pages. The triangle snapped his fingers and Journals 2 and 3 appeared, floating besides him. At least he still had two of the three. But now Bill didn't have a way to search for Journal 1. Technically he could look for it, but what would be the use of searching for something that he couldn't even touch? Trapped in the Mindscape, there was little Bill could do to interact with the outside world. He could always bring the Pines twins into the Mindscape with him, but then they wouldn't be able to touch the Journal either. Bill hated to admit it, but he was running out of ideas.

"Soos! Have you seen my eye patch? It's show time!" Stan said, as Soos, Mabel, and Dipper came down the stairs.

Mabel ran into the kitchen and pulled the eye patch out from under a newspaper. She had seen Stan set the papers on top of it last night.

"Here Grunkle Stan!" She said, running up to him and handing him the eye patch.
